Hello friends. The movie that most represents kindness to me is the 1993 film 'The Sandlot.' I grew up watching this movie and it always made me feel better about myself when I was younger. It's a story of friendship, baseball, and overcoming obstacles in life. This movie shows you that no matter how hard things may get, there will be someone who can help you through your tough times. If you're having a bad day, watch this movie with some friends or family members and you'll find yourself smiling at the end.
What I loved about The Sandlot:
I love how they made the characters so relatable. All of them were just normal kids who wanted to play baseball and have fun with their friends. They didn't care if they won or lost, as long as they had fun doing it. I also liked how they showed how sometimes people make mistakes but don't let it ruin their friendships. And lastly, I really like how they showed that even though someone may not seem nice at first, they could still be a good person deep down inside.
How it influenced me:
This movie has taught me many lessons throughout my life. For example, I've learned that it doesn't matter what others think of you because everyone has their own opinion. What matters is what you think of yourself and the way you treat other people. Also, I believe that everyone deserves a second chance, especially if you are willing to give one to them. Lastly, I'm thankful for this movie because it reminds me to stay positive in life and to always try my best no matter what happens.
A scene that still pops into my mind:
My favorite scene from the movie is when Scotty Smalls (Tom Guiry) is trying to teach the rest of the boys how to pitch. He tells them to stand on top of a hill and then throw the ball as far as they can. Then he tells them to look behind them and see where the ball landed. After this, they all take turns throwing the ball as far as they can and they each hit different parts of the field. One kid hits home plate while another kid hits third base. And finally, one kid hits the fence and misses the entire field. The whole time they're doing this, they're talking about how they need to practice harder and become better pitchers. At the end of the movie, the boys are back together again playing baseball.
The most interesting part of the movie:
For me, the most interesting part of the movie was when they found out that they were being drafted by Major League Baseball. Everyone got so excited except for Benny "The Jet" Rodriguez (David DeLuise). He was sad because he thought he wasn't good enough to play professional baseball. He said that he was just a "little leaguer." But then his father told him that he needed to keep working hard and he would make it someday.
The movie made me laugh and smile. It also made me want to go outside and play baseball with my friends. It was a little bit boring at times. However, I do recommend it to anyone who likes sports or enjoys watching movies about baseball.
Performance of the actors that left an impression:
In my opinion, I think that Tom Guiry did a great job acting in this movie. I also really liked how he portrayed Scotty Smalls. He was very funny and charismatic. I enjoyed watching him in this movie because he always made me laugh. I also thought that David DeLuise played the role of Benny "The Jet" Rodriguez perfectly. His character was so funny and quirky. I laughed every time he spoke because of his unique voice.

Why it's significant and great:
This movie is a classic that everyone should watch. It teaches us many valuable lessons about life and how we should treat others. It makes me happy to know that this movie is still around today. It shows that you don't have to be a big celebrity to make a difference in this world. All you need to do is work hard and never give up on your dreams.
