Bienvenidos sean todos a esta nueva clase-tutorial de inglés. El día de hoy les tengo preparada una clase de vocabulario muy sencilla que pueden ir practicando con su rutina diaria.
La idea de esta clase es aprendernos los días de la semana, los meses, las estaciones del año, el clima y las fechas para que así todos aquellos que lleguen al final del video sean capaces de responder a cualquier nativo, estudiante, profesor cuando les pregunte en ingles ¿qué día es hoy? Y ¿cómo está el clima?
Welcome to this new English tutorial class. Today I have prepared a very simple vocabulary lesson that you can practice with your daily routine.
The idea of this class is to learn the days of the week, the months, the seasons of the year, the weather and the dates so that all those who reach the end of the video will be able to answer any native, student, teacher when asked in English what day is today? And how is the weather?
Quisiera aclarar que los primeros videos gramaticales serán de vocabulario, ya que para poder seguir avanzando con temas más complejos es muy importante conocer por separado las palabras. Generalmente en un curso de idiomas se aprende vocabulario y tiempos verbales de forma conjunta, pero yo lo que quiero, y lo que me hubiese gustado aprender, es vocabulario primero.
I would like to clarify that the first grammar videos will be about vocabulary, because in order to be able to move on to more complex topics it is very important to know the words separately. Usually in a language course you learn vocabulary and verb tenses together, but what I want, and what I would have liked to learn, is vocabulary first.
En muchas ocasiones por falta de conocimiento de algunas palabras se nos dificulta el formular oraciones y preguntas precisamente porque no poseemos el vocabulario suficiente. Para nosotros como estudiantes es importante, más luego cuando queramos escuchar a un nativo, no es necesario entender cada palabra que nos dicen sino más bien el contexto para así poder darle una respuesta correcta.
In many cases, due to lack of knowledge of some words, it is difficult for us to formulate sentences and questions precisely because we do not have enough vocabulary. For us as students it is important, but later when we want to listen to a native speaker, it is not necessary to understand every word they say but rather the context in order to be able to give a correct answer.
Comentándoles un poco sobre el video, les dejo escritas algunas aclaraciones:
• La R en ingles no se pronuncia de forma tan marcada como en español, sino que es más suave y resbaladiza, casi ni se pronuncia y a veces escucharan a un nativo no pronunciarla.
• Las fechas van acompañadas de st, nd, rd o th (para más detalles ver el video)
• En el vigésimo y el trigésimo reemplazamos la Y de twenty y thirty por una IE (twentieth y thirtieth)
Commenting a little about the video, I leave some clarifications:
- The R in English is not pronounced as strongly as in Spanish, but is softer and more slippery, it is hardly pronounced and sometimes you will hear a native speaker not pronounce it.
- The dates are accompanied by st, nd, rd or th (for more details see the video).
- In the twentieth and thirtieth we replace the Y of twenty and thirty with an EI (twentieth and thirtieth).
