New Mosque Building: Unique, Impressive and Interesting

in #hive-1787082 years ago

Many things you encounter by traveling, many moments that can be your story because of traveling. Sometimes you see how beautiful a natural landscape is, a luxurious building, a unique one, or a tourist spot. Well, this time I was lucky to get a view that might be said to be unique but interesting. Yes, this time I got a building of worship called a mosque. This mosque is named Baitul Huda which is located in Blang Malu, Mutiara Timur District, Pidie Regency. Baitul Huda Mosque Building

Why unique? Why Interesting?

I can say that as far as I have observed several mosques in Aceh, all of them have almost the same shape with rectangular buildings and domes like onions. However, the difference that I found here is the unusual color and European look. In general, mosques in Aceh display a golden color, there is also a dominant black color, a little red or predominantly white color. While this mosque looks different with the dominant cream color and mild brown.

Indeed, color does not have much meaning when it is associated with worship. It's just that I should be proud of this color choice and this is very unique in my opinion because the boldness of choosing a color is different from most mosques here. Geographically, this mosque is located next to the highway and is in the middle of rice fields, so this color is so contrasting when combined with green natural colors.

I think that this mosque building has a calm European feel and this is interesting, coupled with its strategic location so that this mosque building becomes even more attractive. Although this mosque is considered a new building, its current presence can be one of pride in this area. Some other things that make me feel more at home here are the area of 9,763 square meters and it has a parking area and other facilities such as bathrooms, separate toilets for men and women and an interior that will make you more comfortable because it has air conditioning.

Okay, let's go back to this mosque building. Here I also found several things that strengthened me about the various carvings on the windows of the mosque and the carvings on the top of the roof. Here I see that this carving is different from the local carvings in Aceh. The calligraphy at the entrance gate also brings the impression of Europe but is very welcome by the residents here, this is evident from some opinions that say that the beauty of this mosque is increasingly visible. One more thing, generally, the mosque here has one separate tower, but this mosque displays two towers that are united with the mosque building. Please take a look at my pictures.

Currently, this mosque is crowded with visitors and has become a new destination for religious tourism for the general public, especially for road users of the Banda Aceh Medan state. Based on my interviews with local residents, this mosque was built approximately 6 years and the source of the funds came from the residents here and government assistance. It is clear that the taste and desire of this community to realize this building is very serious and that togetherness is another interesting thing about the story of the construction of this mosque.

We enter the inside of the mosque, from several sources I read, this mosque can accommodate about 2 thousand visitors. The large hall and its luxury are increasingly visible. Notice some of the carvings, center lights, and carvings on the inner dome. I want to keep seeing this. Btw, you also see that this mosque also features several pillars and the main pillar is also used as a simple shelf to put books. and once again the beauty of the color combination is very soft and supports you to linger here.

If at first I just wanted to just stop by but this time I seem to stop here, and that's how I feel. Even some of these photos are representative of how long I've been here. But in fact, I have to leave this beautiful building to return to continue my journey. Hopefully, later I can come here and this is my little story today.

Hope you like it. Hive Mode On. Btw, this is more picture I took there

I love this ceiling, it is neatly done.

You are right about the color. the combination of beige and light brown makes this mosque different.
