Monomad | Rusty Tussock has pretty combinations but also looks good in black and white

Hello #hive and #photography lovers..

When you see a caterpillar up close, what do you do? Should it be avoided, killed, or used as a photography object? It depends on the situation. Anyone asked about caterpillars will definitely imagine how itchy they are when exposed to the skin. When farmers are asked, caterpillars are their enemies and must be eradicated. On the other hand, photographers will make the beauty of their colors objects that must be captured in pictures.

There were many caterpillars around on this day, and I had to act like a photographer to photograph their beauty. It took my Canon 800D camera working as hard as it could for me to capture these images of the Rusty Tussock Moth. This moth belongs to the genus Gacyia Antiqua. Will it still be exotic if this caterpillar is taken in black and white? Black and white photography can still show the beauty of the Rusty Tussock Moth. By focusing on the details of the caterpillar, such as its unique pattern and texture, it is possible to create an image that captures the essence of the moth. This can be appreciated both in color and in black and white.

This Rusty Tussock Moth caterpillar is active and moves quickly. It attacks young leaves and the tips of leaves. At first, I was just paying attention but over time I wanted to capture it. The uniqueness of this caterpillar is because of its long fur. The colors on its body are striking. Black, yellow, red, and gray are a beautiful combination. But black and white also dance together along its body, creating a unique pattern that can be mesmerizing. Its fur is also distinct in that it is long, creating an interesting texture that stands out from other moth caterpillars.

This caterpillar is harmful to the skin and causes itching more than other caterpillars. But as long as you don't touch them, you're still safe. I made a concerted effort to bring the standard lens closer to my camera to take this picture. I don't know if it's pretty or not, but in black and white the texture of this caterpillar is still very striking. I got a young caterpillar that looked like it was eating a leaf with gusto. Even though it looks cute and harmless, this caterpillar should be avoided as it can cause severe skin irritation. Capturing a close-up of its remarkable texture in black and white was a challenge, but the effort paid off.

Now and then it would go down and look for another leaf to eat. However, before long, it would move back up toward the top of the rosella flower. After searching for some sources, I found out that this caterpillar does not like harsh and old leaves. Therefore, as it moves up, it will certainly meet more young leaves. The caterpillar is looking for fresh leaves as they are easier to eat and provide more nutrition. Additionally, young leaves are often more tender and have a higher water content, making them a more attractive food source for caterpillars.

Finally, after the photo session was over, I got rid of the caterpillar. I planted this rosella flower in a pot and it was about 2 months old. Therefore, the decision to get rid of this caterpillar was made to save the leaves of this flower. Rosela flowers are quite useful because they can be used to make natural tea and serve to nourish the body. Lately, it has also been widely planted because it is a potent medicine for high blood pressure. One petal of the flower can be used for a glass of tea.

Strangely, there is only one caterpillar on the flower. I've looked at leaf after leaf, and even the branches of this flower don't seem to have any caterpillars hanging there. I don't know which flower it came from. But it's a pest and harming my plants, so it must be removed immediately.

I finally got over my worry about itchy skin, but after more than two hours there was no sign of itchiness on my body. Even though I had picked it very carefully. Maybe it's because I didn't touch it directly and just took a picture of it.

The color of this caterpillar is beautiful even though people tend not to approach it for fear of itching. However, we can learn the value of life from caterpillars. While some people think that caterpillars are nuisance animals. However, if we look at its struggle to become a beautiful butterfly that is loved by many people, the caterpillar has to pass through a long transition. This shows us that anything in life can be transformed if we persist and never give up. Even something as small and seemingly insignificant as a caterpillar can become something that is cherished and admired if we don't give up on the process.

Well, there you have it. Caterpillars teach us to be patient and continue to be patient. The result of that patience will be rewarding in the future. So, no matter what shape a caterpillar is, it will definitely become a beautiful butterfly and we as God's smartest creatures must respect other living creatures more. Therefore, we must recognize the power of patience and strive to follow the example of the caterpillar. Only then can we hope to experience the same transformation, and reap the rewards of our dedicated work. Thanks all.

What a nice looking caterpillar.
I know it's for the monomad contest, but I would love to have seen these in colour since caterpillars usually have lovely colours.
