In the routine of everyday life, we often don't even stop to contemplate the sunset at the end of the day, we just follow the crowds in traffic on their way home. Many people don't even know what a sunset is anymore. I have some colleagues who work at the mall: they come in in the morning and don't leave until the evening. I've spent the whole day at the mall a few times and I didn't like the result. You go in there and you lose track of time, you don't know if it's day or night, you just know it with the help of the clock on your cell phone. Now imagine working there every day.

I had a coworker who made a point of getting to work early, around 6 am, precisely so he could leave early (at 3 pm), because every day he went to the beach to watch the sunset with his wife. I did it once and it was great. Too bad the routine of my life doesn't allow me to do the same.

In the city, contemplating the sun is already wonderful. But being in full contact with nature makes it even more incredible. This photo was taken at my parents' house in the countryside. In front of their house, there is a cornfield with an irrigation system. When 5pm comes around, the farmers turn on the pumps and the water starts gushing all over the plantation. At this time, the sun begins to set and the landscape becomes even more beautiful. This was my participation in the 19th #hivebrphotocontest, whose theme was “SUN”. I hope you enjoyed it!

Na rotina do dia a dia, muitas vezes, ao final do dia, nem paramos para contemplar o pôr do sol, apenas seguimos a multidão no trânsito, voltando para casa. Muitas pessoas nem sabem mais o que é um pôr do sol. Tenho alguns colegas que trabalham no shopping: eles entram pela manhã e só saem à noite. Já passei algumas vezes o dia inteiro no shopping e não gostei do resultado. Você entra lá e perde a noção do tempo, sem perceber se é dia ou noite, apenas sabendo disso com a ajuda do relógio do celular. Agora, imagine quem trabalha todos os dias nesse local.

Eu tinha um colega de trabalho que fazia questão de chegar mais cedo ao trabalho, por volta das 6 horas da manhã, justamente para sair mais cedo (às 15 horas), pois todo dia ele ia à praia para contemplar o pôr do sol com sua esposa. Eu fiz isso uma vez e foi muito bom. Pena que a rotina da minha vida não me permite fazer o mesmo.

Na cidade, contemplar o sol já é algo maravilhoso. Porém, estando em pleno contato com a natureza, isso se torna ainda mais incrível. Esta foto foi tirada na casa dos meus pais, na roça. Em frente à casa deles, há uma plantação de milho com sistema de irrigação. Quando chega o horário das 17 horas, os fazendeiros ligam as bombas e a água começa a jorrar por toda a plantação. Nesse período, o sol começa a se despedir e a paisagem fica ainda mais bonita. Esta foi a minha participação no 19º #hivebrphotocontest, cujo tema é "SOL". Espero que tenham gostado!
