In Splinterlands, every battle is different and some are so epic that they take you by surprise. The opponent's rulesets and past battles can be a source of resources for deciding which summoners and monsters to select.

All players have their favorite cards, and these are usually the ones they use the most in their battles. I myself like to use cards with the ability Martyr combined with monsters that are already quite powerful, in terms of damage or speed.

There are battles in which teamwork is essential, and others in which only one card stands out. Until a while ago Doctor Blight was one of the most annoying monsters to defeat, due to its many debuffs and its ability to cloak itself.

Well, the Rebellion Edition has arrived and we now have a Natural Counter for Doctor Blight, his name is Grimbardun Smith a kind of Lord Arianthus (Wild mode legendary monster), but our new monster has the ability Immunity , which completely nullifies Doctor Blight. Despite this, I've rarely seen this new card in action in battle, as it's a Rebellion edition card.

In today's post we're going to show you a battle in which Doctor Blight was responsible for the victory. Of course he had help from the team, but he deserves credit for his skills. The fact that he's camouflaged means that he has more lives.

Initially, the battle relied on the Standard ruleset, so no rules are imposed on the battle, but I prefer it when some rules are present, as it's possible to scale the monsters more objectively, as well as predicting what the opponent will use.

The battle featured only 33 mana and the Splinters Life, Death and Dragon. Both players chose the Dragon Splinter. My strategy was to use monsters with the ability Martyr, both in the first and last positions. Adjacent to a monster that I consider to be strong in terms of speed (Void Dragon) and because it is camouflaged (Doctor Blight).

My opponent has chosen a strategy focused on monsters with the ability Sneak . He has 4 units with this ability, so our rearguard is in serious trouble. But for some reason I deployed Venari Marksrat next to Doctor Blight, who was immune to his opponent's offensive attacks.

In addition, her tank is Arkemis the Bear, who has a good amount of health and melee damage, as well as adding (+2) armor to all allies. So it's a tank with plenty of resistance, but our team has all its attacks directed at the top position.

At the start of the second round, Arkemis the Bear was defeated by the poisoning of Doctor Blight. And throughout the battle Doctor Blight performed the same feat with other enemy units, which contributed greatly to the final outcome of this battle.

By the end of the battle, all the monsters had been defeated, leaving only Void Dragon and Doctor Blight, both of whom had their abilities increased due to the monsters having Martyr abilities. And this duo managed to defeat the remaining monsters in the battle.

Em Splinterlands todas as batalhas são diferentes e algumas são tão épicas que nos surpreendem. As rulesets e as batalhas passadas do oponente podem ser uma fonte de recursos, para a tomada de descisão dos invocadores e mosntros que serão selecionados.

Todos os jogadores têm suas cartas favoritas, geralemente essas cartas são as mais utilizadas em suas batalhas. Eu mesmo gosto muito de utilizar cartas com a habilidade Martyr combinadas com monstros que já são bastante poderosos, em termos de dano ou velcidade.

Existem batalhas em que o trabalho em equipe é essencial outras apenas uma carta em especifico se destaca. Até certo tempo atrás Doctor Blight era um dos monstros mais chatos de se derrotar, devido suas vários debuffs e sua habilidade de se clamuflar.

Pois bem, a Edição Rebellion chegou e agora temos um Counter Natural para Doctor Blight, seu nome é Grimbardun Smith uma espécie de Lord Arianthus (Monstro lendário do modo Wild), porém nosso novo monstro possui a habilidade Immunity , que anula completamente Doctor Blight. Apesar disso, são raras as vezes que presenciei essa nova carta em ação nas batalhas, por se tratar de uma carta da edição Rebellion.

No post de hoje vamos mostrar uma batalha em que Doctor Blight foi um dos responsável pela vitória, é claro que ele teve ajuda da equipe, mas ele merece receber o mérito por suas habilidades. O fato de ficar camuflado vai fazendo ele ficar com mais vidas.

Inicialmente, a batalha contava com o ruleset Standard, então nenhuma regra é imposta na batalha, mas eu prefiro quando alguma regra está presente, pois é possível escalar os monstros com mais objetividade, além de prever o que o oponente irá usar.

A batalha contava apenas com 33 de mana e os Splinters Vida, Morte e Dragão. Ambos os jogadores escolheram o Splinter Dragão. Minha estratégia foi utilizar monstros com a habilidade Martyr, tanto na primeira posição com nas últimas posição. Adjacentes a monstro que considero forte em termo de velocidade (Void Dragon) e por está camuflado (Doctor Blight).

Meu oponente escolheu uma estratégia focada em monstros com a habilidade Sneak . Ele possui 4 unidades com essa habilidade, então nossa retaguarda está correndo sérios apuros. Mas, por algum motivo eu escalei Venari Marksrat ao lado de Doctor Blight, que estava imune a esses ataques ofensivos do oponente.

Além disso, seu tanque é Arkemis the Bear, que possui boa quantidade de saúde e dano melee, além de adicionar (+2) de armadura a todos os aliados. Portanto, é uma tanque com bastante resistência, porém nosso time tem todos os ataque direcionados para a primeira posição.

No inicio da segunda rodada, Arkemis the Bear foi derrotado pelo envenenamento do Doctor Blight. E ao longo da batalha Doctor Blight fez essa mesma proeza com outras unidades inimigas, o que contribuiu bastante com o resultado final desta batalha.

Ao final da batalha todos os monstros foram derrotados sobrando apenas Void Dragon e Doctor Blight, ambos tiveram suas habilidades aumentadas devidos aos monstros com habilidade Martyr. E essa dupla conseguiu derrotar os monstros restantes dessa batalha.
