WE ARE ALL CONNECTED!
Now that Wi-Fi is almost ubiquitous in homes, hotels, cafes, airports, and airplanes, more and more people are researching its effects on the human body. This is because some research says that it is harmful.
Many people experience negative effects and have reported feeling unwell after prolonged exposure to a Wi-Fi network. However, it should be noted that many of these symptoms are subjective and can be caused by many things; for example, some people experience vertigo when exposed to high-frequency sound.
The rhetoric among many researchers is that the potential risks of Wi-Fi are real and these risks come from either a wireless router, mobile phone or antennas. With that said, there are precautions we can take to limit our exposure to electromagnetic fields while using these devices at any time or place.
OUR HEALTH! the most important
An average person checks their phone about 150 times a day. With so many interactions with technology, it's no wonder some people are concerned about the effects of Wi-Fi and mobile phones on our health.
Several studies have raised concerns about the potential negative impact of wireless devices on users, but these are often related to prolonged use or exposure in confined spaces.
There are studies that have found a direct relationship between Wi-Fi and risks to health and the environment. Nothing is conclusive yet, so many people remain cautious when it comes to new technologies like 5G, which could pose a risk to our health.
Wi-Fi signals and mobile phones work on the same frequency as radio waves. And although both are quite harmless in small doses, lately there is a lot of concern about what prolonged exposure and the elevation of the intensity of these signals can do to us. That is why you have to know everything there is to know about WiFi and its effects on the human body before continuing to use it so frequently.
ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELDS (EMF).
Digital technologies have become an integral part of our lives. However, the widespread use of wireless devices, such as smartphones and Wi-Fi routers, has led to widespread exposure to Electromagnetic Field (EMF) frequencies.
But what are EMFs? How do they affect health? Are there any precautions we should take when using Wi-Fi or mobile phones? Read on to learn more about electromagnetic frequencies and their impact on human biology.
What is electromagnetic radiation? EMFs are radiation produced by various types of electrical equipment, such as power lines, electrical appliances, and Wi-Fi routers. It is also created by natural phenomena such as lightning and solar flares from the sun. EMFs are invisible and travel in the form of waves. The frequency of the wave determines its ability to induce electrical currents in the tissues of the body. The higher the frequency, the greater the amount of energy it carries. In the human body, EMFs interact with tissues and cells. They create positive and negative charges, which collide with the molecules inside the cells.
Many studies have been conducted to determine the impact of these electromagnetic fields on human health. The results are not encouraging. Long-term exposure to high levels of EMFs is said to disrupt sleep cycles, EMFs emitted from electronic devices can interfere with the body's production of melatonin, a hormone that regulates the circadian rhythm.
Consequently, people exposed to EMFs at night may experience sleep deprivation and insomnia. Some studies have linked EMFs to low sperm production and low fertility in men and women.
EMFs can cause headaches, migraines, and other neurological disorders. They have been related to the development of neurodegenerative diseases. Other studies have shown that EMFs can alter the biological mechanisms that regulate the endocrine system, made up of glands that secrete hormones that regulate body functions.
THE WI-FI AND THE HUMAN BODY.
The human body is made up of 70% water. This means that when there is an electromagnetic field, its energy is absorbed by the water in the cells.
Water molecules are polarized with positive and negative charges. The Wi-Fi signal is carried by radio waves with a frequency of 2.4 gigahertz (GHz).
This electromagnetic radiation can easily pass through the body and is capable of disturbing cellular activities. The 2.4 GHz frequency is present in the same range as that of microwave ovens. While microwaves are used to cook food and are capable of heating it, radio waves are capable of affecting living cells.
2020 and the massification of 5G
The year 2020 not only brought with it the COVID-19 pandemic, but also a new technological generation of telecommunications known as 5G and which, as its name indicates, doubles the signal intensity from 2.4Ghz to 5.8Ghz.
Although this technology already existed before 2020, only some manufacturers had already installed wireless routers with 5.8Ghz signals for homes and offices.
It is a fact that the first city in the world to have a 5G wireless communications network was Wuhan, shortly after the first cases appeared and few doctors in the world have taken this environmental factor into account as a co-factor of the disease, but Dr. Andrew Kauffman from the University of Missouri did it where he explained in a video-conference in March 2020 that there was a possibility that the COVID-19 disease has to do with the electromagnetic radiation of the recently installed 5G network.
To put you in perspective, the waves of the 2.4Ghz signals are twice as long as those of 5G, so they have more range in transmission distance, the waves of 5G are smaller and travel in the air much faster but They have less range, so to cover the entire spectrum of a 2.4Ghz antenna, 5G would need up to 5 times more transmission antennas.
All of this results in the EMF radiation exposure being increased up to 5 times.
On October 26, 2021, two scientists Beverly Rubik y Robert Brown published a study in the "National Library of Medicine" which belongs to the "Nacional Center for Biotechnology Information" and this in turn to the "National Institute of Health" of the government of the United States, where they show evidence of the connection between wireless communications including 5g and COVID-19.
If you want to read that study, here is the link
Evidence for a connection between coronavirus disease-19 and exposure to radiofrequency radiation from wireless communications including 5GTHE USE OF THE MOBILE TELEPHONE AND THE EMF.
Mobile phone towers and devices use many frequencies, including microwave, to transmit voice and data. When a mobile phone call is made, the mobile phone generates EMC. These EMFs can be absorbed by the human body, causing changes in brain activity.
People who use their mobile phones for long periods of time are at increased risk of developing brain tumors. A study conducted by the University of California at Irvine has shown that long-term exposure to EMFs can increase the risk of developing Alzheimer's disease.
Another study published in the Journal of Affective Disorders has shown that people who use their mobile phones for 30 minutes a day or more are at increased risk of developing depression.
PROTECT YOURSELF FROM EMF RADIATION.
The effects of EMFs on the human body depend on many factors, including the intensity and duration of exposure, the distance between the source of the EMF and the person, and individual factors such as age, health, diet, and sleep patterns. There are many ways to reduce the impact of EMF exposure, including:
- Keep devices away: Turn off Wi-Fi routers when not in use and keep mobile phones away from your head and body.
- Use headphones when using a mobile phone: When using a mobile phone, keep the device away from your head and use headphones to reduce the amount of exposure, especially when the phone is charging.
- Reduce the number of EMF-emitting devices: Limit the use of EMF-emitting devices, especially in the bedroom.
- Avoid using devices at night: Turn off all electronic devices at least one hour before bedtime.
- Practice good sleep hygiene: Get enough sleep, avoid eating and drinking before bedtime, exercise regularly, and take time to unwind.
- Protect your home wiring from EMF, and you can also keep your distance from sources of high EMF exposure.
- Grounding: While we are at home it is possible to walk barefoot and make contact with the ground, but if we are exposed to long hours of radiation, for example in the office, we can wear leather shoes that allow grounding, in which case we must avoid shoes with synthetic sole.
- Put the sleeping bed in contact with the ground: The mattress is perforated and making contact with its skeleton through a wire or cable makes it touch the floor.
MEASUREMENT, MONITORING AND PROTECTION APPs.
Since most of us do not have professional tools for measuring and monitoring the Electromagnetic Fields that surround us, there is no other alternative than to use this tool that we all have at hand "OUR #SMARTPHONES".
Most people do not know it, but the mobile phone can have up to 14 sensors, with which we can do the task of scanning our environment wherever we are.
These apps that I describe below are part of the counter-measure strategies that we can do to counteract high exposure to radiation.
ElectroSmart
This app allows you to get an exposure index of the signals at your fingertips. Includes radiation by telephone operators, Wifi and Bluetooth. The index ranges from 0 to 100 and is described in three exposure levels (Low from 0 to 43), (Moderate from 43 to 70) and (Strong from 70 to 100).
Low exposure (< 0.01 V/m):
Well below the most restrictive official recommendations. Suitable for rest areas (such as bedrooms) or where children spend time, sensitive people and anyone looking for a place with little exposure to microwaves and where communication is not essential.
Moderate exposure (between 0.01 V/m and 0.3 V/m):
Suitable for most people, especially in busy areas (such as offices) when an online connection is needed, but without exposure excessive. However, this level may be too high for some sensitive people.
Strong (high) exposure (>0.3 V/m)
Some sensitive people experience various symptoms (migraine, stress, sleep problems, tinnitus, etc.) if exposed for a long time. Minimize the time you spend at this level of exposure and try to adapt your environment to reduce exposure.

Red Moon
Red Moon is a totally necessary app for those of us who spend many hours watching on our mobile, it allows us to eliminate the blue dots on the screen in order to reduce the amount of harmful light that affects the production of Melatonin which is the cause to produce sleep. Knowing that electromagnetic radiation also contributes to this, by taking these measures we can avoid insomnia and sleep the necessary hours.

CONCLUSIONES:
The biggest conclusion I can draw from topics where there are different opinions is that: "The objective of the debate is not to be right, but rather it is progress" and that in the end "You cannot avoid the truth"
