I was a daddy girl, I was my Dad's favorite and only daughter, so you can imagine what it entails to be a daddy girl and the only girl in the family. I watched everything I needed to watch and what I didn't need to watch because I was always by my father's side and over time I unconsciously became a tomboy because I watched more male stuff than female stuff, which girls my age used to watch except for soap operas, I even watched the news even when I know I was not a fan of news but because I was his side bag, I sat with him at every watch and we talked about them even when I had little knowledge about what was happening.
Dad was the only man in the house back then so when it was match time or news time everyone left the television remote for him because that was the only thing that was the only thing that always brought him out of his room, although he also came around whenever it was time for soap opera, but it was always myself and him who gets to watch together.
I always sit with my dad, and as such, I am always watching the sports and news with him even when I am not a fan of the news and most of them keep me in awe. So don't be too surprised when I say that I love sports, every sport but I am more intrigued by football, there is never a dulling moment when you are around people watching it. The joy, the fight, the exchange of words between opposite teams, and the adrenaline rush, are everything football has and more.
The funny thing is when I was young, I always got so many comments from people telling me to involve myself in a basketball or volleyball team because of my height. They said I had the height and fit in perfectly well, even though I always found it amazing and intriguing when I watch people play basketball or volleyball, the feeling can not be compared to watching people play football. Even though I never found myself or got acquainted with any of these sports, I prefer to be the onlooker than the players, it is just my fear of not getting injured on the field, that always made me prefer to be outside the field than inside the field.
Now, this is the funny thing, even though I love these sports, I always have this joy and excitement when I watch them offline, like in a field than when I watch them on television. Now, let me explain this, whenever I am watching on the screen, I get easily bored and may even doze off but I realized that it is not always the same when I go to the stadium to watch them live, or if it is a local match, and I just need to go and watch them, the feeling, is always different and in a high speed, than when it is showing live on the television
Regardless of that weird feeling, I think I have a thing for football than I would for any other sport, football pulls more crowds than any other sport, although that may be my thought because I think in my environment it is one sport that is generally accepted than any other sports and we since I watched them more and knew almost all the club names and a few players from different club, I guess that may be another reason why it is my favourite.
