Hello hivers, today brings me here an opportunity that I consider quite special and pleasant, yesterday I found on the balcony of my apartment a large and beautiful chrysalis, which had fallen to the ground from where it had chosen to place itself to do its hatching process, I had not noticed it until I found it on the ground and it caught my attention.

Hola hivers, el día de hoy me trae aquí una oportunidad que considero bastante especial y agradable, el día de ayer encontré en el balcón de mi apartamento una grande y bonita crisálida, que había caído al suelo desde donde había elegido colocarse para hacer su proceso de eclosión, yo no la había notado hasta que la encontré en el suelo y llamo mi atención.

I picked it up and wanted to keep it safe so it could be born, and by doing a quick investigation I learned that if it remained on the ground or on any surface it would not be able to be born and die by not being able to do what they call the “dance of life” (I loved the name) which refers to the movements it makes as if it were twisting at times and that help it to get out of its chrysalis, it does it little but when it moves you can quite notice it, and also when I picked it up and had it on some rags there it also reacted and moved quite a bit in my hand.

La recogí y quise ponerla a salvo para que pueda nacer, y haciendo una rápida investigación aprendí que si permanece en el suelo o sobre cualquier superficie esta no podrá nacer y morirá al no poder realizar lo que llaman el “baile de la vida” (me encantó el nombre) que hace referencia a los movimientos que hace como si se retorciera por momentos y que le ayudan a salir de su crisálida, lo hace poco pero cuando se mueve se nota, y también cuando la recogí y la tenia sobre unos trapos allí también reaccionaba y se movía bastante en mi mano.

So in that quick search for information I learned that I had to reconstruct its silk support, to replicate the thread from which it hangs on the twig it chose to transform itself, so as not to waste time not knowing how much time it has already in this process or how much time it has left to complete it, I quickly improvised with a thread and glue, the first ones I found and I had to buy the glue, applying a couple of drops on the part of what resembles its tail in the cremaster, I let the thread rest on these drops so that it gently adheres and the glue dries and then I hung it in a place where it receives non-direct sunlight and a pleasant temperature.

Así que en esa búsqueda rápida de información aprendí que debía reconstruir su soporte de seda, para replicar el hilo del cual cuelga en la ramita que eligió para transformarse, para no perder tiempo no sabiendo cuanto tiempo tiene ya en este proceso ni cuanto le falta para completarlo, improvisé rápidamente con un hilo y pegamento los primeros que encontré y tuve que comprar el pegamento, aplicando una par de gotitas en la parte de lo que asemeja a su colita en el cremáster, se deja reposar sobre estas gotas el hilo para que suavemente se adhiera y se seque el pegamento para luego colgarla en un lugar en el que reciba luz solar no directa y una temperatura agradable.
