I have personally experienced this, I planted banana in my compound on a Sandy soil could you believe this banana never produced fruit?

It took time out before it grew but I also realized that it grew to bare fruit when I made a transplant to a location where I discard my waste still in same compound.

It grew fast and produced fruit. This implies that banana is best grown on loamy soil. It is the best type of soil for planting because it contains a lot of soil nutrients for the crop.

It also needs an environment where the rays of the sunlight penetrates better with in a moderately temperate environment.

The soil in which you choose to plant the banana must be moist. If possible plant in an environment where drainage occurs because bananas utilize a lot of water during thier growth process.
