Less Chances

Do not think that this is going to last forever. That thought also runs through my head whenever am having a good or pleasant experience. Am not a negative person, but it certainly bothers me that things aren't built to last forever. There just aren't many things that do. As a matter of fact, ensuring that anything continues to work at an optimal level requires an additional level of effort to sustain it.

What it means is that while we can't have nice things, we are also heavily constrained by the opportunities that come our way per time, and perhaps in total. It isn't uncommon to rue missed opportunities of the past and look at areas where we could have made those major improvements, grabbed those opportunities before they elasped and elevated ourselves while we still had the chance. Of course I rue the crypto opportunity I've missed despite being an early adopter, and it's a shame I have to slug it out with the laggers for the same opportunity that were once on a platter.

Less Chances of course means that we have to work harder in order to sustain the opportunities that are currently available to us. It is quite costly to pass up on opportunities the older one gets and the more competitive the space is. This is simply because multiple people are willing to pounce on any offer that we let up on. I've sometimes wondered about the future of Hive and how long it remains in this format or this nature. It certainly will evolve at some point, and perhaps there will be another round of lamentations on missed opportunities when the time comes.

I understand what you say but respectfully disagree.

Chances are for those that are willing to take a risk. Compared to early days the risks on crypto where also a lot bigger. There is no free lunch and opportunities are created.
