Something very significant is happening today, and no matter what part of the World you come from you likely know what it is as long as you have basic internet connection. For some people though the day could not have come any sooner since that faithful election week. Indeed there has been heightened optimism and despair alike from Americans, and those who look up to America.

Trump is on one hand expected to fix a lot of things according to his supporters and usher the USA into a new Golden era. On the flip side, there are fears of political retribution, economic concerns, immigration related fears as well as what the global impact of a trump presidency might be. While the next four years certainly promises to be interesting, I believe a lot of concerns and expectations alike are being way exaggerated.

If there is one thing that MSM proved to be especially good at over the years, it is sensationalizing information and many times blowing things out of proportion, This is especially true when the media goes on personal attack mode against individuals and groups. They have a vast array of grammar to either confuse or rally their followers against such an intended target.

We are led to believe that one individual or event will simply change the fortunes of a Nation forever. While there may be some examples in history, it doesn't happen that way for the Overwhelming majority of times. There is a process that things go through over a period of time and sometimes this can be rather slow.

So no, Trump won't automatically make your lives better or worse, no more than it already is in the short term. There may be long term opportunities or threats associated with a Trump presidency but only time will tell. As people though we are expected to keep living our lives regardless of circumstances and make the best out of every situation.
