There's one thing that's becoming quite clear with this space, if it wasn't already. Actually, not that I think about it there may be two noteworthy things to highlight from the crypto markets and how they play out. Knowing them doesn't really mean much for most of us, but it could give us a more solid footing when going through the more difficult days in the space.
The first is that Bitcoin is King, and will remain so for the foreseeable able, maybe forever. If your plans involves Bitcoin being toppled or weakened then you're either from a distant future or just plain wrong. The alts follow Bitcoin like loyal soldiers and BTC hasn't been as reciprocal with the alts. Sometimes a little shake in BTC leaves the alts shaking quite visibly, such as we have now. There may be a few exceptions but generally this is the rule that we are faced with.
Secondly, we have to understand that as long as crypto hasn't reached its maturity stages, we're most likely going to have extended bear periods that stretch quite a bit. Nobody likes the Bears that seem to last forever, but in them there are opportunities for growth. As long as we keep having heavy fluctuations like this then there's still room for anyone to make it in the crypto space.
Of course with the alts the faith is a bit challenged, especially as most of us believe that many alts won't make it as legitimate projects. Yet projects like Hive give us a reason to believe, doesn't it?. We've come way too far to accept anything else.
