It is funny how one can quickly go from crypto hero to villain and back to hero like clockwork. This is the rate at which changes happen and one literally cannot afford to ignore these said happenings. The beauty about the crypto space is that these changes can come with big positives for the end user and certainly should not be taken for granted.
That's part of the advantage for being so new. There is a ton of opportunity which is afforded to us simply because there are many channels that are yet unexplored. Think of it like a developing economy whose industries are yet to be established and all the potential it signals for investors and the economy as a whole.
We often talk about how crypto makes for good financial infrastructure but it is also pertinent to point out that the crypto infrastructure still needs to be developed from every innovative angle. There are just tons and tons of unexplored user applications waiting to be released but delayed due to one reason or the other (funding and regulations at the forefront).
It is how implementable these changes are and how they can quickly affect things around the entire chain. One change in regulation for instance or a fantastic new application could potentially set the markets for yet another boom. The spike in the price of Dogecoin was an anticipation of things to come with Elon Musk as the new head of Twitter. Imagine what could happen when actual changes and integration then occur.
The potential to transform our selves financially is very clear and present in this space. While time still plays an important role and we must be ready to play the long game, the truth is that there are few projects that hold onto as much promise in the short, medium to long term as much as crypto. If you're looking from a strictly personal investment perspective, I'll say crypto is the likeliest investment that can transform the fortunes of the average person.
Conclusion
It certainly doesn't hurt to move with the mindset of expectation. Like a investor in the traditional space going into a relatively unexplored sector, it always helps to see the long term potential and simply run with it. There may be bottlenecks and stumbling blocks in front, but there's really no stopping a certain destination
