Time for a Farty Dessert

in #fart15 days ago

Yesterday I shared a Farty Family recipe for dinner, now lets offer our guests dessert. It's bound to make some noise if you catch my drift. Here's how to whip up a batch of Fart-Inducing Brownies:

Ingredients:
1 cup of black beans (yes, you read that right, drain them but don't rinse them too much. We want that gas!)
3 large eggs
1/2 cup of cocoa powder (unsweetened, the darker the better)
1/3 cup of maple syrup or honey (just sweet enough, but not too much)
1/4 cup of melted coconut oil or butter (your call, but coconut oil adds to the... effect)
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (for flavor, because we're not monsters)
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
A pinch of salt
Optional for the brave: 1/2 cup of prunes or raisins (these are the secret weapon)

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper because, trust me, you don’t want these sticking.
Blend the beans into a smooth paste. You can do this in a food processor or blender. If you're using prunes or raisins, toss them in here too for an extra punch.
Mix the wet ingredients: In a bowl, combine your bean paste with the eggs, maple syrup/honey, melted oil/butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until it's all one happy, farty family.
Add the dry stuff: Throw in the cocoa powder, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix until just combined. Don't overdo it; we're not trying to whip air into this, right?
Pour and bake: Spread the batter into your prepared pan. Pop it into the oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the edges start to pull away from the sides of the pan. A toothpick should come out mostly clean, but remember, we're aiming for gooey, not dry.
Cool down: Let them cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before you even think about cutting. They're fudgy, and they need that time.
Serve: Cut into squares. If you want to be really evil, serve them warm with some ice cream. The contrast will be delightful, but the aftermath... well, you'll see.

Warning: Serve these at your own risk. Make sure you've got good ventilation or an open window policy. And hey, maybe have some air fresheners on hand!

Enjoy the laughs and the... memorable moments. Just don't say I didn't warn you! 😁
