Art By Nature And The Wooden Toilet

in #hive-1949133 years ago

Winter seems to be over, spring is just around the corner, so it's time to go out and enjoy fresh air as much as possible. This morning I went to the park to have a long walk, which usually brightens my day. It's nice to enjoy the quiet environment while enjoying the fresh air.

There's not much to photograph this time of the year, when one season is ending and the other is just beginning, but nature is the greatest artist and if you keep your eyes open, there's always something.

This is a half man made, half nature made composition, but I find it very interesting. I found it pinned on a tree. Someone took a few wild chestnuts, a pine cone and a big leaf and created this artwork. I don't know for how long it's going to resist as it's already dry, but I'm glad I was able to spot it.

Next I saw these wood pieces, that serve as a decorative element, as well as t protect the flower beds. There have been here for years, the green color is the witness to that. I love the pattern, as always. These circles are regular, symmetric ones, that you don't see often. It's like someone have designed them with a drawing compass.

This is different though. Anyway, these surfaces always remind me of dartboards.

The next one will be interesting as well as funny. Yes, sometimes nature can create funny shapes, forms and not many can see it.

What is the first thing that comes in your mind when you look at this piece of wood? Yes, TOILET 😃 what else?

Look at it from a different angle. If you've ever installed a toilet or a toilet seat, you know the seat is screwed in that part and this piece of wood even has two holes, exactly where the screws would be. Can you believe it?

Firstly, how can a tree grow like that? Secondly, what has caused those holes, as it's not man made.

For me this looked like a real miracle, even though religious crosses carved in wood are called a miracle, not toilet shaped woods. Imagine carving this piece out like a real toilet, threat the wood with the necessary protection, apply a coat of varnish and you have a fun piece in your home. No for everyday use though.

So, have you ever seen such a piece of wood? Is it really like a toilet or am I seeing what I want to see?

Yes, my wood obsession. It was interesting to see the difference between the bark of the tree and the inner part.

What's next? More wood, what else? 😁

This is another interesting piece, although it's not cut off yet, still standing, so it is living. This was a side branch once, that fell victim of the chainsaw. Since then, nature has tried to take over. Those holes are made by insects, that need a home and need food.

Lichen and some green, that could be a type of moss, but I'm not sure. It looked good, so I took the photo.

I found this moss carpet on a log and found it interesting how the log is striped as it's dry. This is another example how nature takes over what it is hers.

Last, but not least, a strange creature, that I have no idea what it is. It's some kind of fungi, I think. My first thought was to take a photo of of the place where the branch has been cut off, then I spotted this white creature, that was more interesting.

Your pictures are interesting. It's great to step out into nature and breathe in the fresh air. I usually do the same every weekend. It feels great when. Nature is truly a cure-all.

I guess it's the only way to stay healthy and recharge your batteries. Nature is always a cure, if you let yourself be cured :)

Very interesting post title, very creative way of creating the post.

This is how I see things, so I guess it's my way.

You really explore much seeing this amazing work of nature. They are really nice and so attractive

It's hard to find anything interesting this time of the year, but still, I can't complain.

Love all the photos! The post itself is so cool, Love also the title! Indeed nature is mysterious and unique!

Thank you! It is indeed mysterious and unique. I'm trying to learn a lot and it helps when you're taking photos and trying to identify what is on the photo. The small things also matter a lot. 😊

Completely agree! 😗

Spectacular photography.

how to take a very good picture friend. some very nice pictures of wood chips or tree chains.

Thank you. Sometimes nature surprises you with interesting things.

Mother Nature has a sense of humor!

Now I cannot unsee a wooden toliet lid in its down position - much preferred to the wooden lid being up based on some of the um, "natural paint stains" on top!🚽

You captured lichen, moss and fungi elegantly through the eyes of your lens!🍄📸🌿

And i I this photograph of yours...

...I see the front of a mailbox!🔎📫🔍

Fantastic scenic photography! @erikah🌲🌿🔆🌱🌳

Lol, it's interesting how we see different things when we look at the same photo.

This can be a mailbox, it's just that tree is still standing, it's a living tree, so not yet my friend 😁
