The last 14th February wasn't the regular everyday Valentine's day celebration in a posh restaurant with beautiful flowers, lights and soft romantic music background,for my wife and I. Of course I had the desire to give her the traditional treat every queen deserves on such a special day, but the bitting Lagos economy was hell bent on thwarting my dreams. However I remember that an empty pocket shouldn't deprive me of creating beautiful memories with the love of my life. So I thought of where I could take my woman to, especially somewhere new, somewhere she has never been to before. Then Ekõ Atlantic City came to mind. Ekõ Atlantic City is in Lagos Nigeria. It is a city being developed in land reclaimed from the Atlantic ocean. The entrance to the city used to be the famous Lagos Bar beach, which was the most popular beach in Nigeria.(

The City has a long coastline from it's entire western, eastern and southern borderlines.
The City has an eccentric ambiance created by man's exploitative quest on nature. And Yes we had a great time on an almost zero budget, but not for the gas fee. She loved it. She was quite surprised that another city was springing up right in the city of Lagos.
