Sunday morning, a beautiful and cold day. Logarska valley is still covered with snow. Excellent.
It's time for a longer run, two and a half hours. The plan is to go from the entrance into the valley to the end on the cross-country skiing track then to return back on the road and see how much time is left.
The story of the run in photos.
7:30 am, knocking at the main door.
The track is hard and good to run on.
The mountains are getting closer. (It's funny how the camera can't decide on the light and color of the photos)
Sun's first rays have touched the mountaintops.
Finally, the Rinka waterfall. It is cast in thick ice with water falling beneath it.
It was almost 9 kilometres to reach the end of the valley. Now it was time to go back and mostly down. When I reached the starting point I had another 20 minutes to run so I prolonged in on the main road then turned back. In the end, 20 kilometres with 435 meters of climb. Good!
These new 3D maps are great!
Ps: I am not posting a lot lately. Other preoccupations don't leave much time and I am not willing to post more. Don0t worry, everything is great despite the situation. It's just that this is a time of big changes that demand your full focus.
