Piling the workouts like logs of firewood. Or something like that ...
Recently I am juggling with the plan and shifting workouts when I lack the time for longer ones. Which means I take on shorter and leave longer, timewise, for the future. Then these longer workouts pile up. Like it was yesterday and today. Twice a 3 x 8 minutes tempo run which is 1:06 long considering all the warmup, jog, and cooldown minutes.
Today it was like this, a flat run with tempo sections on a tarmac path which was great.
This is from yesterday. The same exercise yet on a hilly terrain. Training effect is lower yet the effort is the same or even greater.
I doesn't matter. Workouts done, the plan carried out, moving on.
