Quarells are a part of our daily life but a person who is wise and understanding avoids them all and knows that it is not necessary to react to everything. Sometimes silence is too good a response to make the next one a more guilty.
Few people understand these things and many people showed their anger by shouting at each other and then fall in their own eyes. A similar incident happened to me.
I have two juniors who were very good friends but they got into a fight. I had never seen them fight and I was very surprised because they were talking to each other very loudly.
For some time I was wondering whether I should go to them or not between these two angry girls but since I was their friend and also senior to them so, it was my duty to try to make them understand and end it all.
----
People were enjoying the words of both of them. It is rare to see anyone feel the pain of another because most people are spectators.
Well, I went to them and without saying anything grabbed both of their arms and took them to the side.
When I asked them the reason for the quarrel, both of them again started talking loudly. There I got a little angry because they were acting very childish. I told them that when one is speaking, the other will remain silent and when the other starts talking, the first one will not say anything and they both agreed.
Thankfully, they respected me a lot and they both listened to me and started telling me everything.
I listened to them with great attention and concluded from all this that a third person had come between them who was creating a misunderstanding and their fight could end only when that third person admitted her mistake.
I also called this third person and made her sit. Without insulting her lovingly asked why you created this misunderstanding??
she got very embarrassed and said that once they made fun of me in class so, I wanted to take revenge
Sometimes people do very strange things and they go to any extent to get their revenge.
After that everyone's misunderstanding was cleared and it was known who was wrong. I reconciled these two friends and they apologized to each other that they should not have trusted such a third person.
I explained to them that they should not be angry with the third girl and stay away from her in a sensible way because sometimes God does things to us because He wants to teach us a lesson. It does not mean that we should make a noise, but understand God's purpose, learn from it and move forward in life quietly.
I wouldn't say that I am very sensible but at that time I showed a lot of understanding and because of my just talking with love they rekindled their friendship which made me very happy.
In this way I became the cause of reconciliation between the two friends.
