Hoy voy a compartir con ustedes lo que fue mi día de compras de ropa para mis eventos de arte, que en este caso iba a ser para Convinarte.
La idea era tener un atuendo un poco más formal para utilizar el día de el evento corporativo que teníamos en puerta y que se llevaría a cabo al siguiente día.
Ya tenía una idea de que iba a comprar porque el día anterior mi compañera había ido al centro de la ciudad y me había pasado fotos de lo que encontró.
En esas opciones que vio había un pantalón vinotinto que me gustó desde que lo ví y que se adaptaba perfecto a la temática.
Pero antes de ir a medírmelo pasé por otras tiendas para buscar otras opciones. Luego de no encontrar nada me fui directamente hasta la tienda Tío Ammi, donde se encontraba dicha prenda.

Today I'm going to share with you what was my day of clothes shopping for my art events, which in this case was going to be for Convinarte.
The idea was to have a little more formal attire to wear on the day of the corporate event we had coming up, which was to take place the next day.
I already had an idea of what I was going to buy because the day before my partner had gone downtown and had passed me pictures of what she found.
In those options she saw there was a pair of vinotinto pants that I liked since I saw it and that fit perfectly with the theme.
But before I went to measure it I went to other stores to look for other options. After not finding anything I went directly to the Tio Ammi store, where I could find this garment.
No tenía ni idea de dónde iba a encontrar el pantalón ya que es una tienda muy grande y hay muchísima ropa. Así que no me mortifiqué por esto y comencé a hacer un recorrido completo para ver qué conseguía.
Habían muchas prendas curiosas como está braga de gatito (que me provocó tenerla jaja 🙊) y estas chaquetas peludas que me parecen terrible para el clima tan caluroso que tenemos en la región.
I had no idea where I was going to find the pants since it's such a big store and there are so many clothes. So I wasn't mortified by this and started doing a full walk through to see what I could get.
There were many curious garments like this kitty panty (which provoked me to have it haha 🙊) and these furry jackets which I find terrible for the hot weather we have in the region.
Tomé las prendas que me iba cruzando y que sentían que se parecían a lo que llevaba en mente y en mi teléfono de inspiración 😅.
Hasta que por fin encontré el pantalón, del cual agarré dos en diferentes tallas por si no me quedaban.
Fue el primero que me medí y no sentí la necesidad de probarme nada más porque era lo que buscaba.
Así que me medí algunas blusas que hicieran juego hasta que me decidí por una.
I grabbed garments that I came across that felt like they resembled what I had in mind and on my inspiration phone 😅.
Until I finally found the pants, of which I grabbed two in different sizes in case they didn't fit.
It was the first one I measured and I didn't feel the need to try anything else on because it was what I was looking for.
So I measured a few matching blouses until I decided on one.
Ya con mis dos prendas me dirigí a caja para pagar. El pantalón tenía una rebaja del 40%, cosa que me sorprendió gratamente.
La blusa costó 4$ y el pantalón 4.8$, que dió un total de 8.8$. Pagué y ya estaba lista.
Pensaba que me iba a salir todo mucho más costoso. La verdad considero que salí ganando.
With my two garments, I went to the cashier to pay. The pants were 40% off, which I was pleasantly surprised.
The blouse was $4.00 and the pants were $4.8, for a total of $8.8. I paid and was ready to go.
I thought everything was going to be much more expensive. The truth is that I think I came out a winner.
Al salir a buscar mis cosas en el área de los bolsos me pasó algo bien curioso. El chico que estaba atendiendo me pidió el favor de que le comprara unas cosas en la tienda de al lado ya que no podía dejar su puesto de trabajo.
Me dió su tarjeta de débito con todo y clave para esto. No me negué porque no me costaba nada ayudarlo, lo curioso es que el tuvo la confianza para darme su tarjeta junto a todos sus datos.
Lamentablemente el banco tenía problemas y no pude comprar nada, pero igual el chico me agradeció la intención.
When I went out to get my things in the bag area something very curious happened to me. The guy who was serving me asked me to buy some things in the store next door because he could not leave his job.
He gave me his debit card with everything and password for this. I did not refuse because it did not cost me anything to help him, the funny thing is that he had the confidence to give me his card along with all his data.
Unfortunately the bank had problems and I could not buy anything, but the guy still thanked me for my intention.
Cómo me había sobrado dinero, aproveché de ir a la tienda Palacio del Blumer para comprarme unas prendas que me hacían falta. Esta tienda fue renovada por completo, pero estaba tan cansada y apurada al mismo tiempo, que no tomé casi fotos de su interior.
Espero en otro momento mostrarles más a detalle está tienda.
Hice una pequeña fila y pagué lo que había escogido.
Since I had some money left over, I took the opportunity to go to the Palacio del Blumer store to buy some clothes that I needed. This store was completely renovated, but I was so tired and in a hurry at the same time, that I didn't take pictures of the interior.
I hope to show you this store in more detail some other time.
I stood in line and paid for what I had chosen.
En total gasté 11.8$, un monto bastante bajo para lo que había pensado que gastaría.
Me sentía súper feliz y realizada y ya estaba lista para mi actividad al otro día. ✨
In total I spent $11.8, a pretty low amount for what I had thought I would spend.
I felt super happy and accomplished and was ready for my activity the next day. ✨
