it feels good to be writing again. I have been swamped all week but I missed writing and I am glad to be back to it all thanks to @reineesmay for the invite and messages😊
I love the first question for the week’s prompt that asks
Name a song, any song, happy or sad, that stirs your heart and soul every time you hear it. What memories, feelings, emotions, and images does the song bring back? Is there a story that goes with the song?
I am that one person that hears a song, loves it, and play it over and over again till I get tired.
well I rarely get tired till I hear this next best song.
My husband says I have a song for every month and funny enough it's true.last month it was a song by SIMI, a month before that it was elevation worship, the month before that It was maverick city music, and this month it is a song by Nathaniel Bassey.
I can't even count how much I have played this song in my house, it is always on my lips, if I want to raise a song of worship or praise before I pray that is the only song in my head...
You would wonder what this song is?
First, this is what the lyric of the song says
see what the Lord has done
Can you see what the Lord has done
What we waited for has come to pass, See what the Lord has done.
That's all the song
Title :see what the lord has done by Nathaniel bassey
So the very first Sunday of July was amazing, I was so excited because in my church first Sunday of every month they celebrate the celebrants of the month, we cut cakes and most times get gifts so I was super pumped seeing it is the birth month of my son and me.
Another part of the service I looked forward to was testimony for some reason first Sundays are filled with testimonies, and testimony time would remain one of my best times in church services.
It was testimony time and this couple came up with their babies for dedication before the woman started her testimony, in tears she sang the song
see what the Lord has done”,
I had goosebumps all over it was the first time I heard the song she sang it from the depth of her heart with so many tears.
She has been married 5 years over 6 miscarriages and stillbirth but finally, she had her twins. I didn't know the time I was moved to tears too,
Yes, I am emotional like that sometimes😁
I was grateful to God for her life and her babies.
All through the service that was the song in my mouth, I kept repeating it so I don't forget the lyrics, I had to write it down at a point too.
When I got home I googled and saw the artist and song and it has been my song for the month since then.

It just resonates a lot with me in so many ways I can't even start listening to them. But for one, my baby made it to year one healthy and sound, I made it a year after my complicated delivery and my family is doing fine amidst the struggles and difficulties of life, for that I am grateful.
Now I am back to singing the song again, my son would soon be a force to join me from his sleep🤣🤣.
I invite @wolfofnostreet because I enjoy watching you sing on hive open mics and I am sure you have a favorite song with lots of emotions behind it and @peaq with the hope she would see this and be back on hive🥰 she has a great voice too.
