We met very early in the morning and started talking about the kind of photography I would like to do in the future. I told her that I like snapshots of people and flowers. Then she decided to explain to me how I should take portraits. I didn't know that that had its technique, and that is that people can't be in the center of the photo 😲.
We started the practice by capturing the life of a jabas seller. We asked his permission and he agreed, but I didn't like how his expression looked. He, in fact, started posing for us 😁. Then a 78 year old lady named Esmeralda appeared. The lady, very nice, started chatting with us about her daily routine: she gets up at five in the morning to sell her coffee and thus makes her money to eat. I enjoyed talking to her so much that I started taking pictures of her. Vivi did the same. One of the pictures I took of her I loved, she is smiling and the background is blurred, but, in photography, it looks horrible that in the blurred background many people appear and the colors of the clothes look very strong 😲.
Well, of all the photos, this was the one that turned out well. It was my first day practicing portrait photography. Esmeralda looked at herself and said she was very ugly. Vivi and I corrected her mistake, telling her how beautiful she is, that she doesn't even look 78 years old. That made her smile again and she left wishing us good luck in photography.
