🧵/1 This question hits close to home for me. When I think about it, I realize that I've seen people make sacrifices for others, only to be met with ingratitude and entitlement. Is this just a part of human nature? Should we be willing to give our lives for others, even if they don't appreciate it?

🧵/2 I'm not saying that I'm against helping others or making sacrifices. But I do think we need to be realistic about the potential consequences and outcomes. If we're not careful, we might end up doing more harm than good.
