Greetings dear readers today I give life and love to my blog 💕 participating in the weekly proposal that brings us @galenkp in this opportunity with some reflections that touch the human fiber, in which I respond with the following question.
Is there anything worse than dying? What is it and why do you think it is worse? explain your answer
Some circumstances before a death can be worse than dying, moments that can be subject to agonizing, disturbing, distressing, painful processes for both our physical body and soul, for example:
HEALTH SITUATIONS
Maybe during a terminal illness or accident we are accompanied by loved ones who make the process less painful with care and active presence where it is possible to see and feel the pre-death less traumatic, otherwise I think this process is worse than dying because being alone in these health situations is something really frightening and more so in the face of unfavorable health and hospital systems that do not guarantee quality or prolongation of life where the sick and family not having resources are able to look at death as the only consolation.
LOSS OF AFFECTIVE CONSCIOUSNESS
I also consider something worse than dying, is to be dead in life, before this I refer to those situations where there is the loss of affective consciousness, where love ceases to exist resulting harmful to our humanity, and I refer to the death of emotions and positive feelings. Where insensitivity and lack of values can be seen around the corner, after an infinity of violent actions that inhabit human beings against the system and that can make us die gradually.
Something worse than dying is to be born and raised in a highly dysfunctional family bond, which affects those who wander in search of any element that gives them breath, in the lost look of the old man who does not remember his name, in the malnourished child infested with pests and worms, in the abandoned animal thirsty for attention, when being outraged, robbed or killed without clemency by another who is a consequence of the system and that bond. All these situations are present in our dark society that undoubtedly show us multiple spaces as a prelude to death.
PISONS
Prisons are places that for as long as I can remember I have heard from those close to me is the "anteroom to death", a place from which we all flee, but from which by law and state regulations many fall with and without guilt where freedom loses meaning. There are thousands of testimonies from both those released from prison and those who still remain inside, whose subhuman conditions are worthy of creating tales of terror.
There are thousands of testimonies of contempt, rapes, mutilations, overcrowding, suicides, madness and human degradation of all those who live there, where the most precious thing, which is life, depends on a thread maneuvered by human cruelty, undeniably that can be something worse than dying, perhaps leading some to ask for hope, wishing death as the only option.
