The coolest thing (ok, one of the coolest things) about photography is being able to make the simplest, humble things look like a million dolars. It is all about the way you shoot, not about the equipment you have. Good angle, shadows, contrast, position... it all counts and is worth paying attention to. Not that I am an expert, but I like to try different things and learn.
I went to shoot a sunset that turned out to be not the most magnificent (and we all like magnificent sunsets, of course). But the sky had nice colours, and I did not want to waste it. I went to look for some obstacles to be able to shoot against the setting sun. A common trick is to get a nice, jet black silhouette.
I found some taller weeds growing on the side of the road - perfect!! :D
At this time of the year, and it was mid-fall, the threes and all the autumn berries had the most amazing colours. But this is not about that. There will be time for it.
Let's enjoy the golden sky and the shapes of what was left after summer.
