Sometimes going out to shoot something is like a hunt for the little spots of lights. But not just any as few more conditions need to meet.
The spot of light, the darker background, something to shoot (those that can be arranged) and a lens that is willing to rock the bokeh.
The daisies were perfect and while the grass is not trimmed and they bloom away not caring that they are the smallest.
Humble little things...
Of course I can almost always count on dandelions. A weed that spreads uncontrollably and yet it is so often photographed. The fluffy seeds probably more often than the flowers itself.
The little bokeh bubbles you see on the picture below was another weed with extremely tiny white flowers. They did catch some sun and were transformed to bubbly bokeh.
I wish I had spray bottle with me. All the background would then be filled with shiny circles reflecting every little bit of light.
Ok, this is not a spot. The whole lavender was in full sun.
I just like how it all got washed around that one stem.
Bonus song:
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Henry Lee ft. P.J Harvey
year 1996
Heard it in a radio few days ago after many, many years. Probably since it came out and was played all over the places (together with the one where he sings with Kyle M., but this is better).
Shot with Spny a7R + Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 50mm f/1.4 lens
