I'm back after an prolonged hiatus; I missed talking about everything I'm really enthusiastic about. But this time, I swear I'll be more involved. Allow me to share my most recent blog post with you, which was a draft.
These two are very attached to me; they never fail to see me and check about how I'm doing despite the fact that I have a lot going on, including a scam that stresses me out, and they were there to cheer me up after I got out of the hospital. They told me that we needed to get together in order for us to bond before I returned to our province. Since I only have a few days left before returning to the province, I decided to see them and spend a little time with them on my day off.
We had originally planned to go to one of the Liloan locations, but Yor's late schedule from work caused us to modify our plans. Instead, we decided to just grab dinner and choose a nearby restaurant. Kaye and I arrived first, and while we waited, we stopped by Mr. Softy to have ice cream. We were passing the time by observing passersby, and in the interim, we chose which restaurant to eat at. Although she hasn't had their cuisine yet, Kaye was excited to test it because she and her family frequently visit this mall. As for me, I've had the opportunity to sample it previously, so I know it's delicious.
When Yor finally arrives after 30 minutes, we head straight to Majestic—yes, that's the name of the restaurant—which has many locations across Cebu, particularly within malls. I had visited this restaurant before, once at the Ayala Mall, and both times I was quite pleased with the cuisine. As a result, I had high expectations for them this time around. hehe
We had a warm welcome, which is great since I like when people are kind to one other, and a server showed us to our seat. We were given a menu right away, and we decided on the big Patatim, we also ordered Pancit Canton and Lumpia. Because I have a food allergy, I particularly asked that the shrimp be kept separate from the Pancit Canton. We took some pictures and engaged in some small talk as we waited for our dinner. The meal arrived after fifteen minutes, and while I was eager to try their Lumpia, the server informed us that it had a mixture of shrimp.
I was rather disappointed that he neglected to acknowledge our request to have the shrimp separated from the pancit canton because of my allergy, and that he also neglected to notify us in advance about the presence of shrimp on the lumpia. I was pretty disappointed because I had been looking forward to trying their lumpia the previous time I had eaten there. The problem is, if I hadn't bothered to inform them the first time that we needed to remove the shrimp from Pancit Canton, they could have added it and made it difficult for me to breathe. My friends are aware of my moments of disappointment.
Overall, though, the food they served was excellent. I was only able to sample the Patatim and the Pancit canton, and the bread was undoubtedly delicious. I loved spending more time with my friends, and I hope we continue this wonderful experience when I decide to return to Cebu permanently, it was a fantastic time.
