Welcome, hivers. It has been a long time. I apologize for being so busy lately. I had a lot to share, but I've been so busy with lie and about, and I can't wait to tell you how I celebrated my birthday. Since starting work in 2015, I haven't been able to spend my birthday with my family and friends in the province, so I'm delighted I can now. Now that I have a job that allows me to work from home, I can enjoy all of the occasions with my family, and I'm overjoyed to be able to do so.
Last April, I decided to organize my birthday. I've already asked my Aunt what dish she can cook. I started making a list of everything I needed to buy and looking at dishes that were simple to prepare. I asked my friend where I could buy the cake; I wanted this to work and had a specific design in mind, and I was really thrilled while putting it together. My friend had recommended a highly dependable baker, and I told her I trusted her and that anyone she chose would not disappoint me. I added two dozen of cupcakes along with the cake; to be honest, I'm not particularly into cakes and cupcakes, but I'm doing this for my visitors, not for myself.
So, when all of the preparation and planning was completed, and all of the supplies had been purchased, I had two days to relax. I began sending invitations to my friends. I tried to keep things small and private. Unfortunately, most of my best friends are not nearby, but I am grateful that I had a few I could trust. On my birthday, my father, aunt, and I went to church early in the morning. I like to leave early so that I can assist my aunt with cooking when we come after church. We were relieved that the church was not completely packed. I had a break from the church and from assisting my Aunt. I told friends that the celebration would be around 4 p.m. I don't want to start early, so I tell one of my friends it's fine if we start late afternoon.
My friends pick up the cake, cupcakes, and Lechon Belly I ordered. My friend Mhei prepared carbonara and baked cheesy milk fish for me. She is fantastic at doing such things for me, and I appreciate the effort she is putting in; I consider myself quite fortunate to have her.
I'll be more active soon, just trying to adjust to the new schedule and living back and forth in the province. See you!
