I am truly amazed how I recall the time I've met this lovely lady @jeennicious.
The funny thing was, we started on the wrong foot. π
We are from a different team but the same cluster and during our peak season we tend to be assigned to a different workgroup.
At that time we have to share the same training room while taking chat contacts.
Her partner now happened to be my teammate at that time so I usually see her with him during breaks. I was in a good mood that day when I received an email and my manager that I transfer the contact incorrectly and guess who sent that? It was Jenny. π
I was aggravated at that time and can't accept the fact that someone did that lol.
But looking back, on how we started our friendship we can't just stop laughing about it now when we remember it. I am just thankful for this girl as she always stood by my side.
I remember how she cared for me each time I get sick. She is the first person who will volunteer to send me stuff such as food and medicine.
In the past few days, I was not feeling okay. Since she is one of the few people that I can talk to about how I feel she cheer me up and help me by being with me when I needed someone to talk to.
Recently I started thinking of doing something to divert my focus into something productive and so we went to two malls just to buy this painting by numbers.
And after how many stores glad we were able to find it.
Who would have thought that we will be friends and she will become my support system and vice versa? π₯°
In life, I realized that you can see a real friend during your ups and downs and who will stick around. She is one of them and I realized that when everything around us seems so negative we need a person who has a lot of positivity in their soul to uplift us and do better and of course, we should also return the favor and bring the best out of that person.
Jenny's kindness to me and others is one of the examples of women supporting women.
I am so lucky to have known her. We may have started on the wrong foot but our friendship blossoms and glad we made it this far.
How about you hivers, do you have the same story?
