Brothers Astra Militarium Army first fight

Hi @exptrader here from northern Germany,

my brother has now had his first battle with his new army

(which I gave him as a present, see post https://peakd.com/hive-189497/@exptrader/finaly-a-new-army-is-born-warhammer40k).

I asked him how the rounds went but they both spent a lot of time with the rules as his mate is also new to the business (he has Necrons and Ultramarines as his army, but he can paint really well)

The two parties were the Astrar Militarum combat patrol and a Necron patrol

In the words of my brother, who gave me a brief and concise account of the battle:
"In the first round he killed my gunnery squad and in the third round his Nekron hero took the runner out of the fight with a missile dart thingy "

He ended up winning the fight on points.

I'm curious to see if my brother will keep fighting with his army or if he'll lose interest at some point.
When I get home I'll definitely challenge him and his mate too
