Lined up in my brother's gallery are sets of portraits I wish to explore. I took the liberty earlier this week to draw one of them. This particular one was from a set of pictures that captured women with massive hair or hair stylings.
As usual, I started out with my technique and went on to apply as much depth as possible on the hair. I also took some time on the braids just so I could have a beautiful output. It wasn't as easy as it looks though because I have gotten used to drawing light portraits and as such at the second or third layering I was satisfied. This time however despite my satisfaction, I persevered and got the result I had inteded.
There are certain edges or strokes on the person of the character that needs to be thin but due to the nature of my technique I improvised with the sharp points of my lead and got a good but not perfect result. For that I apologize.
This is the lineart and succeeding is the process....
Thanks for the visit friends, it means a lot to me.
