This week has taken us to another dimension in the @hive-learners community, this week's Edition 01 topic is titled "Your Crypto Journey"

We have all heard about cryptocurrency, a digital currency that is common among the public.
Crypto currency has really brought change to the world at large, with it transaction of money to any part of the world has been made easy, people are now investing in this digital currency which is crypto, although it is not supported in some country yet.
My Crypto Journey
My journey in the world of crypto currency has been one of the most important and life changing journey.
I started hearing about crypto currency since 2017, and as at then I did not understand how it works, I just heard that it was a digital currency, and news and predictions where coming up then that crypto currency will change the world very soon, so as of that time I never took it serious and I know must of us never took it serious too, since, I never knew that there will be such a technological advancement so I think I never believed it to an extent.
I think there was a change of mind in 2020 when corona virus came, then crypto currency has became popular and it was trending everywhere, since we were all at home doing nothing I became interested in knowing what this crypto currency was all about, I read news a about it and I saw people predicting the price of it in years to come, although I never believed those predictions but I still decided to invest a little money to see how it goes, I created a wallet with Luno a crypto exchange and bought Ethereum, then it was about $200.
Due to fear I use to check my money every time morning, afternoon and night and midnight lol, when it rises I smile and when it falls I start to panic, I think it was because I never got enough education as then before I started so I never new the volatility of crypto currency, everything was going well and my investment was rising everyday, but all of a sudden there was a U turn in the middle of the year, and everything thing was just going down, I saw my money reducing day by day and I became afraid because I was now investing more and expecting it to be growing without going down but that didn't happen so fast.
The Sad news was that due to my lack of foundation in crypto currency and the fear in me as at then I had to sell the little coin that was left then and I stopped the journey for that year, I never knew I stopped and have denied myself the opportunity of becoming a millionaire that year(crying), till date whenever I remember that year I use to feel a deep regret. As of late 2020 coins where increasing almost times ten, Ethereum that was in hundreds of dollars was now counting in thousand, and where is my coin? It is nowhere to be found in the blockchain (sad).
So friends that was my sad story that year, I never started the crypto journey well, but I'm looking forward to finishing well, I have taken that as a lesson learnt.
How far am I willing to take it
After what happened to me, this year I decided to come back but this time to make it big, I have been in the process of learning how things still works in the blockchain and thanks to Hive, joining Hive was also one of the best part of my journey in crypto, Hive has made it easy for me, learning has been easy and unlimited, I joined crypto communities in Hive such as @leofinance and the amount of knowledge I have gotten there is unmeasurable, other community like @hive-learners also was helpful, thank you Hive for being part of the journey.
I'm taking my crypto journey further, I see myself advancing and becoming a pro in crypto currency in the next 5 years, and my goal is ti become a billionaire through cryptocurrency, and I will never stop till I achieve that.
But first I have to learn before I earn, I know achieving it will take time, but I will keep on striving, as far I keep thinking about it I will never stop working for it.
Crypto Currency is changing the world and I want to also be part of this change.
