In order to stop financial scams, Google is about to modify its policy. On January 15 of this month, the tech giant Google decided to amend its advertising policy. The purpose of this Google policy change is to address the financial scams that are occurring in the cryptocurrency industry as well as the complaints that are being received. Google's move to comply with the UK's crypto advertising regulations is significant. After receiving several complaints about cryptocurrency-related anomalies, the UK authorities decided to control its promotion.

To keep its license, Google will first show off cryptocurrency platform ads to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK. On its help page, the tech company has made reference to the policy change. Google stated in its post that it will permit advertising for hardware wallets that store cryptocurrency private keys, including NFTs and other crypto-based assets. However, the firm will not advertise for any other service that involves purchasing, selling, trading, or exchanging cryptocurrency.
Businesses that run cryptocurrency ads will need to be aware of Google's impending change. Google has made it clear, nevertheless, that violators' accounts won't be automatically terminated. A cryptocurrency company will receive a notification and have seven days to register if it is discovered to be advertising without UK FCA registration. Later, accounts that don't comply will be suspended.
