Hello Lions and Lionesses! It’s that time of the month when we look into our Hive wallets in search of some Leo tokens to power up!
Since the beginning of this year I have been Powering Up my Leo every single month without a fail. Some months were skinny and I almost gave up at times, but I managed to push through all the dips and whatever else life threw at me.
I set 2 Primary goals for this year in terms of accumulation of crypto assets and one of those was to finish the year 2023 with 2023 Leos tightly tucked into my Leo Power.
How am I doing on this front?
Very well actually.
Earlier today I powered up 155.005 Leo, which makes my goal, as outlined in my January 2023 goals post, well on track.
Before powering up, my starting stake was 1781 LP. From this point here we can see that merely participating in today's and December's LPUDs with the minimum 150 Leo for the badge will take me above my goal - right into 2081 ;) What will the end result be? Let's see in just a month.
After today's Power Up my total Leo Power is now 1936 LP and I only need another 87 Leo’s to complete my goal.
I must say, it feels really good to be so well on track for completing at least one of my goals. Last month I skipped writing LPUD post, cause real life suddenly became very energy consuming, but I made sure to still power up and get my LPUD badge :)
This week I would be on holiday had I decided to pick option 1 out of 2. I really wanted a break from overly hectic times at work, but the idea of spending 3 weeks with my parents for Christmas won over option 1.
What I really wanted was a break and I wanted to get back into the flow of writing. Well, guess what? Despite not being on holiday both of those happened in a way. Work suddenly became less busy, I can leave earlier and get down to writing. Life sometimes flows in mysterious ways.
In fact, work is so quiet, is feels a little spooky. On the other side I have time to ponder about how to set my goals for next year and how far I've come in 1 year since I started hiving. I have been dramatical about how behind I am with my primary goal for HP accumulation, but as I run some seemingly unrelated calculations for my layer 2 tokens as well as gaming assets I realised I'm doing quite well on those fronts.
This cheered me up a lot. Adding all those together showed that the overall growth of my wallet is twice as much as what I considered so far. I have been focusing too much at one area only and now I feel a little silly. It's like holding your money in 4 pockets, but only ever looking in one of them and then moaning that you're poor 😂😂😂
I'm not that poor after all!
About that I'll most likely write in my next #SaturdaySavers report, as it's almost my bedtime now!
Sadly there will be no LPUD or LPUD post for #hivegarden this month, as dear @riverflows deals with some real life things which are more pressing at this time. Hope you’re coping my dear 😘
