My wife (@ifarmgirl) has been encouraging me to come to Hive and seeing her often enjoy what she does, I just cheered on her. At one time she joked saying I must learn how to use Hive so that I know what to do if she suddenly goes away (she means if she leaves earth) and I will need to take care of her account because she is working hard to grow it everyday. I jokingly said let it take care of itself :)
Last month, I finally asked her how to get a Hive account so she helped me. She said I must make an introduction post but I don't feel comfortable so I did not make any. Then she told me about ListNerds and said it might help me in my start here in Hive. I think she is right because I am meeting new people and they are visiting my post and interacting which makes me feel welcomed. I am thankful for that :)
I got busy last week because of the community road that we have to finish but since it is done and the rainy season has come, I will have more time to learn things here. The FarmGirl has been very patient teaching me but I need to work hard (haha). So I willkeep coming here everyday and make it my main social platform.
Yesterday while reading, I came across a few posts talking about Hive Power Up Day so I asked my wife about it. She explained the idea behind it and asked if I wanted to do it. I thought why not be a part of it too? She sent me 10 Hive which I promised to pay back when I earn more hahaha (joking).
I think the power up day program is nice. It encourages us to be serious about our accounts. My first participation is 10.02 Hive and then my wife surprised me when I saw another 10 Hive Power added to my account. Man, she wants me to do my best (lol).
This afternoon while the FarmGirl was having her nap, I decided to write and then watched the Thursday Night Live and I heard something there that hit me: "Stop stopping" and "Stop being stagnant." "Improve consistently." (I quoted these words from the video).
I know there are many things that need learning and starting is hard but I hope to cope up with the things here. Will not stop, I will try... I am trying so please bear with me :)
Thank you and to your bliss today!
