The first edition of the week comes with another interesting topic which revolves around social handle life. The advent of technology has caused a rapid growth in so many areas of human endeavour. It's been a transformation from one level to another.
Previously, we never know of social media to such a high level. I could remember when the mobile phone first came into our country. It was actually very expensive and many couldn't afford it while others consider it as a way to extort people. People gave different interpretations and meaning to it.
The development has really grown right now such that social media has become another community on its own. As i type this, there are still people sceptical about social media lifestyle while many at the other end don't know how to make use of it. They succeeded in just exposing themselves to it and posting sme nastic things. We are living in such a time where many have abuse the social media whereas many leverage on it as a means to enhance more development and growth.
For me i don't see the social media as a means of destruction rather a platform that could improve one and make him better though caution should be a watch word. Life in rhe social media can make you or mare you completely. I would share some stories on how some were badly affected by the social handles and to balance it up also with how some people got fulfilled via same social Media handle.
Social Media has exposed some people today to some dangers. I could remember when my cousin first created his Facebook account, he normally post everything about his life on it. Ypu could literally trace him each day because he would update people on the platform where he is per time. When i noticed the rate of insecurity in my country, i quickly told him to stop disclosing vital information about himself on such kind of platform. There are people that have been attacked by some hoodlums and life was snatched out of them.
On the other hand, there are many people that have gotten jobs and even got married via the social media platforms. They were able to locate their life partner and beautifully married today. I would counsel that not all information should be disclosed on social handles. There is need to keep some privacy.
I had the opportunity to work with one organisation that is into professional management. I was actually opened to lots of realities and how to balance my social media life. I noticed that one could leverage on the social media to be gainfully employed. There are sites that employers sought for and some times recruit their staff. Its not bad when an employee drops vital information on such platform for easy accessibility.

Your social media handle is another way to package your curriculum vitae in disguise. Your social media speaks more about you and employer tends to search to know more about his potential employee. Be guided and careful.
I wouldn't mind to drop details if it could afford me something better.
