Hello women hivers. It's exciting to share my experience again here with smart and vibrant ladies like you all. So the topic will be which do you prefer, working from home as a freelancer, or working outside the home where you get stable monthly pay? Why?
Well I have had the experience of both. Working from home, a contract job that lasted for about 6 weeks along with a daily pay and working outside home with steady monthly salary income.
While I was freelancing, I had more time to myself staying at home getting busy. There are times I don't step out of my doorpost for days. After few weeks I discovered I had added weight in a noticeable way. It wasn't a big deal until the 6 weeks was up and I couldn't find another job but got a salary job where I applied some months ago.
Although, the new job wasn't paying as much as the freelancing, I still preferred the out door job. The joy of getting dressed, going out everyday keeps your body and soul busy. Another benefits of the out door job for me was team working that helps me bond with my community and colleagues, which gives room for creativity and resilient.
After a months work I had my body fitted again. I felt light and happy. Mentally, it helps reduce my state of anxiety. Also as an educator, my bond with the learners inspires me alot. It's could sometimes be amazing what you learn from children when you have a good relationship with them.
My new job might not give me the financial satisfaction I desire, but it has helped in keeping me healthy through constant physical activity, exposures to nature, regular social interactions that reduces anxiety in me.
In overall, I wouldn't mind doing the both in minimum of i have the opportunity and time, but most importantly i will rather stick to the outside job stable salary pay.
Thanks for reading.
