Hello my dear friends…
Finally, i have time to take pictures of what i cook. Since i am still fairly new in daily cooking life, cooking alone take so much of my time and gave me additional anxiety and stress i cant even explain, so making a content in between that is something so hard for me yet. I worry if i dont have enough time to cook, i worry if the food taste bad, i worry if my food doesnt suit my husband’s taste, etc. its a never ending world of worriness. Dont get me wrong, i also think that cooking is one of the best way to relieve stress. In conclusion, cooking is my stress reliever and my source of stress at the same time. What a fun life and mind i have, right?
Well, since this one is a pretty simple food to make. I push myself to put some time to turn this into a content. It was fun, it makes me so happy. So guys, this started off when i saw a lot of people make a reels in Instagram about how to make this, how easy this is, and how tasty this is. I also love to make snacks for my husband. I think that snacks is as important as our meal, its definetely better to consume snacks that i made my self rather than buying it from the street market.
Ingredients
First of all, i will share about the ingredients we need to make this strawberry bites. Very simple and easy, we only need 3 ingredients.
- Greek Yoghurt
- Fresh Strawberry
- Compound Chocolate
How To Make
In the picture, i used 16 pcs of strawberry. But, at the end i only ended up using half of it. I assume that j use 8 pcs of strawberry in this recipe. I took off the stem and wash them properly till the water that i put in the strawberry bowl is clear.
Next, i just chopped them to a small pieces. From my experience i think its better to make sure we avoid chopping them till the point of jam consistency. Its better to have some texture and not too watery so it will be easier when we move them to the next step later.
After chopping them strawberries, put some greek yoghurt in it. I put 5 tbs of greek yoghurt. Make sure to use greek yoghurt and use the thick one so they will hold the consistency as we plan to make this into bites.
This is what ig looks like after i mixed them the strawberry and yoghurt. I dont know but i think my mix was a bit too runny, i guess it was because i chop the strawberry too small that they produce a lot of water.
Next, we just have to take our baking paper and put the mic in there in the size or style as you want. I made mine in cookies ~ like style. I only ended up with 7 pieces and its okay and enough for me and my husband. After that, we need to hurriedly put this in to the freezer.
This is what it looks like after i put them in the freezer for the whole night. Supposedly, we only have to freeze them for 3 hours but i need a whole night since my frrezer is full so its not freezing fast enough.
Now is the time for the chocolate, i cut three bars of the chocolate (so its three time of the pictures i’ve shown in here). I tried to melted them 1 bar at the time to see how much i actually need so i wont waste my chocolate compound. I used air fryer to melted them as i dont have microwave in my home. I airfry them in 75 celcius for 10 minutes.
This is the melted chocolate and we just have to dip the frozen yoghurt and strawberry mixed to this, out it back to our baking paper, and freeze them again for 1 hour. Its a bit tricky in this part because the chocolate is harden quickly and the frozen yoghurt and strawberry mix is melted easily after i took them out from the freezer.
After so much effort, this is what my frozen yoghurt and strawberry looks like before i started putting them in freezer again to freeze for one hour. Only four out of seven is looking decent while the last three became a big fail since the chocolate and the frozen mix was already in the mess of no return.
Still, its taste so good. Its sweet and sour at the same time. I guess this is also pretty healthy if we count out the chocolate? I will try to find something healthier to replace the compound chocolate the next time i make this.
