The world of the so-called metaverse and Non Fungible Tokens or NFTs has been taking shape little by little and more and more companies are interested in these issues and it seems that the video game sector is not at all alien to it. The great Japanese classic video game company; Konami not only wants to bet on the world of NFTs, now it has just announced that it will also venture into the Metaverse and is looking for employees to provide its service, and here we tell you the details.
The company is looking for employees to develop the Web3 and Metaverse platform, which can be seen on their job page. They need professionals to "launch a service that allows players to exchange NFTs from their games through a single distribution platform using the blockchain."

At Konami they have proposed to launch themselves fully into exploring the entire ecosystem of Web3 technology and everything indicates that they will take advantage of this in their future releases. They may introduce NFTs into games they have in development in order to power their Metaverse. Does that mean that this will also affect the Silent Hill that they have in development? Will we see bits and pieces of this in the rumored Metal Gear remakes or in the return of Castlevania?
