Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse stated that he was outraged with the ongoing legal case between the firm and the SEC. In addition Garlinghouse said that nobody outside the United States cares about the company's lawsuit before the SEC.
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has revealed that he is angry with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) over the regulator's ongoing lawsuit against cryptocurrency firm XRP.
In a tweet on Oct. 15, Brad Garlinghouse said that the SEC had shown no concern for companies or individuals that its lawsuit against the XRP token could harm. According to him, the pursuit of a political objective by the commission led by Gary Gensler is not about “faithful loyalty to the law. (Instead) it's about power."
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse also said that the SEC would not face any consequences from the lawsuit. He added that the committee had "obviously forgotten that the government serves the people." "We should all be outraged," he said.
Last week, the CEO of Ripple said that he expects the lawsuit to end during the first half of next year. The case between the two parties is currently in the summary trial phase.
Meanwhile, strings of recent wins have seen the price of XRP rise. In the last 30 days, the digital currency is up 46%. However, its value has declined in seven-day metrics to $0.4830 at press time.
