Hello friends, I hope you are very well, I am very happy to be able to share in this photography-loving community, I want to relate and share my experience yesterday on a walk near my city. We have some land belonging to my family and we have gradually bought some cows because we want to raise cattle to sell milk and cheese. So we went to see how our first animals are doing.
Hola amigos espero que se encuentren muy bien, estoy muy contento de poder compartir en esta comunidad amante de la fotografía, quiero relatar y compartir mi experiencia del día de ayer en un paseo cerca de mi ciudad. Tenemos unas tierras pertenecientes a mi familia y hemos ido comprando poco a poco algunas vacas porque deseamos criar ganado para vender leche y queso. Así que fuimos a ver como van nuestros primeros animales.
It has not been easy to start this path due to the economic circumstances of Venezuela, socialism has destroyed it, so it costs a lot of work to start a business. However, little by little and with planning, things are being done. Yesterday, Sunday, we left very early, the place is half an hour from our house, so we took advantage of the cloudy day to go out and thus enjoy the stay for most of the day.
No ha sido fácil iniciar este camino por las circunstancias económicas de Venezuela, el socialismo ha destruido así que cuesta mucho trabajo levantar un emprendimiento. Sin embargo, poco a poco y con planificación se van haciendo las cosas. El día de ayer domingo salimos muy temprano, el lugar esta a media hora de nuestra casa así que aprovechamos el día nublado para salir y así disfrutar la estancia la mayor parte del día.
On the highway we had a mishap that was by far the biggest scare of my life. A band of birds came out of nowhere, crossing from one end to the other and crashed into the windshield of the car at full speed. The blow was big but nothing happened, although the glass cracked nothing more serious happened, but we braked and got out very and there were no birds nearby, we couldn't see where they fell or if we were still alive. It was scary and strange.
En la carretera tuvimos un percance que por lejos fue el susto más grande de mi vida. Una banda de aves salio de la nada, cruzando de un extremo a otros y chocaron el parabrisas del auto a toda velocidad. El golpe fue grande pero no pasó nada, aunque el vidrio se agrieto no sucedió algo más grave, pero frenamos y salimos a muy y no habían pájaros cerca, no pudimos ver donde cayeron o si seguimos con vida. Fue aterrador y extraño.
We arrived safely and we found all the cows outside their corral, at that moment they were being fed with the grass, some cows were very aggressive while others were friendly, two little calves are the most spoiled of all, as friendly as a few Puppies, as it has rained a lot, the grass has grown abundantly.
Llegamos con bien y nos encontramos a todas las vacas fuera de su corral, en ese momento las estaban alimentando con el pasto, algunas vacas eran muy agresivas mientras que otras eran amigables, dos pequeños becerros son los más consentidos de todos, tan amigables como unos cachorritos, como ha llovido bastante el pasto ha crecido en abundancia.
My mother and I took the opportunity to get closer to them and be able to see them up close and touch them, it was so great that even the little ones gave them food. We really needed this walk, especially my mother, who has always been a country woman and always longs for the smell of wet earth, nature and the song of birds.
Mi madre y yo aprovechamos para acercarnos a ellos y poder verlos de cerca y tocarlos, fue tan genial que hasta les dimos comida los más pequeños. Este paseo nos hacía mucha falta, especialmente a mi madre, quien siempre fue una mujer de campo y siempre añora el olor de la tierra mojada, la naturaleza y el cánto de las aves.
After spending the whole day walking and exploring the boundaries of the land, we took the cattle to the corral where they sleep, although I didn't do anything, I just watched as others did, I didn't want to end up like Mufasa the lion king trampled by the stampede hahaha . But it was not like that, they are very calm animals and they have already begun to produce good cheese.
Luego de pasar el día entero caminando y explorando los límites del terreno fuimos llevando al ganado al corral donde duermen, aunque yo no hice nada, solo me quedé mirando como otros lo hacían, no quería terminar como Mufasa el rey león pisoteado por la estampida jajaja. Pero no fue así, son animales muy tranquilos y ya han comenzado a dar buen queso.
It was a pleasant and unforgettable experience to be surrounded by so much natural habitat, the change is drastically noticeable when we go from the noisy city to the quiet countryside, even though the countryside is quiet, you have to have a lot of respect for it, the forces of nature are in all their splendor and any mistake can be very expensive. But beyond all that, it was something I needed, I hadn't walked for a long time, I was so delighted that I'll be back soon and I'll take my instruments to make a painting outdoors, I hope it's soon. Fue una experiencia agradable e inolvidable estar rodeado de tanto hábitat natural, se nota el cambio drásticamente cuando pasamos de la ruidosa ciudad al tranquilo campo, aunque el campo sea así tranquilo hay que tenerle mucho respeto, las fuerzas de la naturaleza estan en todo su esplendor y cualquier error puede pagarse muy caro. Pero mas lla de todo eso era algo que necesitaba, tenía mucho rato sin pasear, quedé tan encantado que pronto volveré y me llevaré mis instrumentos para hacer un cuadro al aire libre, espero que sea pronto. Por ahora esto ha sido todo, espero que les haya gustado, me despido de ustedes hasta una nueva oportunidad.
