Good day, Hiveans! How are you? I hope you’re in good health and fine while reading my blog.
Capelinha De Fatima Shrine in San Remigio was officially opened last October 2021. I think our minds were so busy that year and the next year that we started visiting the place last July 2022.

My husband and I as much as possible try to visit a common shrine near our hometown. When we heard about Capelinha De Fatima Shrine, we wanted to see but from the feedback of other people who had already seen the place the road was not commendable. They told me that the way to reach the place was a rocky road. It is a given since the shrine is still new and located in the mountainous part of San Remigio.
It was summer vacation with no classes and an ordinary day for us when we got bored stayed at home and decided to have a joy ride. It was an opportunity for me to recommend visiting the shrine, Capelinha De Fatima. I was curious about the place despite the feedback I received because of its path. My husband wanted to see it too to explore the place. He was curious about the specific part of San Remigio the shrine was located in. He never tried to explore the mountainous part of San Remigio since the land area of San Remigio is large compared to our town. It will be an opportunity for him to have a reason to witness the large area.
We traveled using the motorcycle bike and even though we didn’t know the location, we trusted Google Maps to direct us on the right path. The good thing is that the Capelinha De Fatima shrine is already pinned in Google Maps. We had no worries about the direction, but our concern was the path to reach the place.
There are many suggestions in Google Maps for the shortcut, but we took the longest travel since we were not in a rush, and it was our first time.
We traveled using the national highway, we passed another town, Bogo City, then the downtown of San Remigio until we saw a signage “This way to Capelinha De Fatima”.
I feel happy as I read the signage because it means we are almost there. At first, the path is fine, with cement and no stones but when we are almost there, we experience the rocky road that we heard from the people that already visited. Luckily, our motorcycle bike is set up for rough roads. My husband was so happy because it seemed that he joined motocross while traveling. It was his advantage.
As we finally reached the place, we were amazed by the structure. It was our first time seeing this kind of structure. We feel peace as we enter the place. The holiness is there. We took pictures at the side of the shrine.
It was our first visit and until now, every year we tried to visit the place again and again.
Thank you for reaching this far. If you want to inspire, learn, and witness beautiful scenery, experiences, and places, do not forget to follow, upvote, and reblog my post to support and motivate me to write more. Thank you.
