Hello my dear Hivers, I hope everything is going very well in your life and all that your heart desires is materialized ❤️. I am very happy, YES! And I want to share that joy with you who are protagonists and have allowed me to grow in the community, so I can say WE MADE IT! Since I came to #Hive, I have combined my formal teaching job with content creation but how did I combine it? As a good community, we got together @jonsnow1983 and @valeriavalentina and said LET'S DO IT!
Lo demás de verdad que fue muy fácil; entrar a instituciones públicas es algo muy díficil por el escepticismo, desconocimiento del tema y mitos que se tejen a su alrededor en cuanto a la adquisición de criptomonedas y trabajo digital. Quizás ese trabajo "complicado" lo sorteamos porque yo trabajo allí y los directivos confiaron en mí para poder llevar a cabo el conversatorio.
Es que lamentablemente en nuestro país la educación digital es un tema tabú o es mal utilizada; eso lo evidenciamos que consumimos mucho contenido "basura", que no aporta nada al conocimiento o crecimiento de las personas y la sociedad. Entonces, cuando le hablas de una organización, planificación, intereacción con propósitos, empatía, seriedad y hasta hacerlo como su estilo de vida (como muchos de nosotros) es algo que no termina de entrar por completo en nuestras mentes y vida personal-laboral.
Sin embargo, al ser un tema novedoso y atractivo sobre todo para el público joven (que fue nuestra población objetivo) tuvimos como meta hablarles de manera sencilla, práctica, con ejemplos, un poco de lo que es nuestro ecosistema y lo que hacemos que nos distingue de otras plataformas.
The rest was really easy; entering public institutions is very difficult due to the scepticism, lack of knowledge about the subject and myths that are woven around them regarding the acquisition of cryptocurrencies and digital work. Perhaps we got around this "complicated" work because I work there and the managers trusted me to be able to carry out the talk.
Unfortunately, in our country, digital education is a taboo subject or is misused; we can see that we consume a lot of "junk" content, which contributes nothing to the knowledge or growth of people and society. So, when you talk about organisation, planning, interaction with purpose, empathy, seriousness and even making it a way of life (as many of us do), it is something that does not fully enter our minds and personal-working life.
However, as it is a new and attractive topic, especially for the young audience (which was our target population), our goal was to talk to them in a simple, practical way, with examples, a little of what our ecosystem is and what we do that distinguishes us from other platforms.
Al principio, tenía la convicción que podíamos encontrar esos elefantes blancos de resistencia, apatía, desmotivación que nos podían como frenar, pero fue todo lo contrario. Los estudiantes estuvieron atentos, al igual que los profesores ¡Todo un éxito!
Para finalizar, entregamos unos folletos con información resumida de todo lo que representamos; hablamos de las experiencias nacionales que también estan aportando a tener crecimiento y presencia del país a nivel mundial y esos proyectos internacionales que generan impacto social y del cual somos parte.
Esta parte me gustó porque les motivó a entender que es algo serio, confiable, descentralizado, comunitario, pero que requiere constancia, disciplina, originalidad y sobre todo nos enseña a cuidar nuestro comunidad de ataques o amenazas de vulnerar nuestro ecosistema.
Y como no nos queríamos ir🤣, hicimos unas preguntas a los asistentes de todo lo que habíamos hablado ¡Y que sorpresa! Estuvieron muy motivados a responder con sus propias palabras, se interesaron por seguir aprendiendo y bueno, nuestra meta final es que así como nosotros puedan entrar, mantenerse, hacer comunidad mostrando sus talentos y habilidades teniendo impacto a nivel mundial.
At the beginning, I had the conviction that we could find those white elephants of resistance, apathy, demotivation that could slow us down, but it was quite the opposite. The students were attentive, as were the teachers - a success! To finish, we handed out leaflets with summarised information about what we represent; we talked about national experiences that are also contributing to the growth and presence of the country at a global level and about international projects that generate social impact and of which we are a part.
I liked this part because it motivated them to understand that it is something serious, reliable, decentralised, community-based, but that it requires constancy, discipline, originality and above all it teaches us to take care of our community from attacks or threats to violate our ecosystem. And as we didn't want to leave🤣, we asked the attendees some questions about everything we had talked about, and what a surprise! They were very motivated to answer with their own words, they were interested to continue learning and well, our ultimate goal is that like us they can enter, stay, make community showing their talents and skills having an impact worldwide.
En la zona norte de mi ciudad no existen iniciativas de este nivel, así que estamos muy motivados a seguir llegando a las diferentes instituciones que nos los permitan, y seguir enseñando lo que hacemos en HIVE.
También es un llamado como responsabilidad social (así lo llamo) que si Hive nos ha dado tanto durante tanto tiempo, es muy lógico que nosotros aportemos también conocimiento y compartamos nuestras experiencias con aquellas personas que vemos como diariamente desperdician su tiempo en redes sociales, no siendo dueños de su propio contenido y al final, no permitiendo pensar por nuestros propios medios sino que lo dejamos a lo que vemos en redes sin ningún tipo de control y seguimiento.
Espero hayan disfrutado de esta experiencia de la que fui parte y poder compartirlo con todos ustedes.

In the northern part of my city there are no initiatives at this level, so we are very motivated to continue reaching out to the different institutions that allow us to do so, and to continue teaching what we do at HIVE. It is also a call as a social responsibility (that's what I call it) that if Hive has given us so much for so long, it is very logical that we also contribute knowledge and share our experiences with those people who we see how daily waste their time on social networks, not being owners of their own content and in the end, not allowing us to think by our own means but rather we leave it to what we see on networks without any kind of control and monitoring.
