¿Cuál fue el problema?
Nuestro dormitorio ha sufrido cambios significativos y de mucho provecho para la estancia en él; sin embargo, su ubicación es hace algo complicada porque queda justamente en una avenida muy transitada por carros, buses, motos y cualquier vehículo automotor que se atraviese. Además, es una zona comercial de repuestos de carros, por lo que la afluencia de los carros "malos o dañados" es mayor que los carros normales.
Sabemos también que los buses emiten grandes cantidades de humo y como queda en un segundo piso, el humo se mete todo al cuarto y siempre se ve como negro a pesar de limpiarlo y ordenarlo diariamente.
Para agregarle mas problemas, resulta que estamos muy cerca del mar, por lo que la brisa,arena o ese _rocio_ que cae, hace del cuarto un lugar que se ve sucio.
En días anteriores se hizo el cambio de la herradura de la ventana ya que estaba oxidada. Esta quedó muy bonita y con un diseño moderno. A su vez, se limpiaron las ventanas panorámicas y se cambiaron las persianas a ver si daba mejor resultado de limpieza, pero que va, ese olor y sensación de sucio persistía.
Transforming the bedroom window What was the problem? Our bedroom has undergone significant changes and of much benefit to the stay in it; however, its location is somewhat complicated because it is right on a busy avenue for cars, buses, motorcycles and any motor vehicle that crosses. In addition, it is a commercial area for car parts, so the influx of "bad or damaged" cars is greater than normal cars. We also know that the buses emit large amounts of smoke and since it is on the second floor, the smoke gets into the room and always looks black despite daily cleaning and tidying. To add more problems, it turns out that we are very close to the sea, so the breeze, sand or that _rocio_ that falls, makes the room a place that looks dirty. In previous days we changed the horseshoe on the window because it was rusty. It is now very nice and with a modern design. At the same time, the panoramic windows were cleaned and the blinds were changed to see if it gave a better cleaning result, but the smell and dirty sensation persisted.
¿Cómo se solucionó?
Aunque no es de manera permanente, logramos colocar papel adhesivo en las ventanas para que atrape todo el Hollin (que es como se conoce ese polvillo) e impida el paso, lo que en teoría mantendría el cuarto libre de estas partículas.
La idea comenzó con dos pliegos que compramos, los cuales pedimos que fueran fuertes y con bastante pegamento para resistir a la intemperie del aire, la lluvia, el rocío, y todos los animalitos que también intentan entrar.
Los materiales que usamos fueron: el papel adhesivo, tijera y una aspiradora.
En este caso, iniciamos con el último material, la aspiradora. Como les comenté, es un sitio muy sucio por el hollin, así que primero debíamos limpiar todo primero.
How was it solved? Although not permanently, we managed to place adhesive paper on the windows to trap all the Hollin (which is how this dust is known) and prevent it from passing through, which in theory would keep the room free of these particles. The idea started with two sheets of paper that we bought, which we asked to be strong and with enough glue to resist the weathering of the air, rain, dew, and all the little animals that also try to get in. The materials we used were: adhesive paper, scissors and a vacuum cleaner. In this case, we started with the last material, the vacuum cleaner. As I told you, it is a very dirty place because of the soot, so we had to clean everything first.

Resulta que el papel no daba para taparlo completo, así que lo unimos. Reforzamos la unión con más cinta adhesiva:

Seguidamente, comenzamos a pegarlo. Bueno, ya en este punto, entiendo la solidaridad masculina que he visto por los reels y lo comprobé en este caso; inmediatamente llegó uno para ayudar como es debido porque yo no alcazaba y tenía que tomar las fotografías 🤣.
Then, we started to glue it. Well, already at this point, I understand the male solidarity that I have seen for the reels and I checked it in this case; immediately one came to help properly because I did not reach and had to take the pictures 🤣.
¿Cómo quedó?
Mal al principio, pero se cumplieron los objetivos😎. Debido al viento que es fuerte, debimos reforzar las orillas con más cinta adhesiva y esteticamente no quedó muy bien; sin embargo, como las ventanas tienen papel ahumado no se ve el detalle.
Lo bueno también fue que antes no podíamos abrir la ventana para que entre luz solar, ya que entraban los animalitos como las moscas así que ahora podemos tenerla abiertas y sin correr ese riesgo ¡Excelente propuesta! Además, no tenemos que apagar el aire, así que el invento nos quedó genial.
How did it look? Bad at first, but the objectives were met😎. Due to the wind being strong, we had to reinforce the edges with more tape and aesthetically it didn't look very good; however, since the windows have smoked paper you can't see the detail. The good thing was also that before we could not open the window to let sunlight in, since animals like flies would come in, so now we can keep it open without running that risk. Besides, we don't have to turn off the air, so the invention was great.
