It was almost ruined......🤔🤔🤔
Well, it was as if the season was not going to be full of joy when the negative energy came from my workplace. It was a cherished custom to kick off the festive season with an end-of-the-year get-together party, a joyous occasion where we appeared in colorful and beautiful attire, munched on delicious food, danced freely, and merry together in unity and love. Unfortunately, just the evening before the event, the party was unexpectedly canceled. This news hit me hard, being the Chairperson. I felt a profound sense of loss as I had invested so much time and energy into ensuring its success. The emotional weight of this disappointment lingered, overshadowing my festive spirit.
Just when I thought the joy of the season would elude me because I felt a loss at that side. However, a spark of positivity ignited like a sudden fire among some of my learned colleagues. The few who were positive quickly organized a beach outing as if it was all a joke, and boomed it happened. We mobilized our plans within just five days through our WhatsApp group. We pooled our resources for food and drinks, carefully selected the beach destination, and crafted a masterpiece outing that promised fun and relaxation. It was indeed promising!

The day of our beach trip arrived, and it was an experience brimming with joy, because the majority of us hadn't gone out and had fun for a very long time, and here we were at the beach. So amazing! The laughter and the coolness of the beach were so amazing. We reveled under the sun, dancing, playing some games, and swimming, feeling the worries and negativity from the workplace vanished like that of the sunset. The positive energy geared back into our lives, refreshing my spirit in a way I could have never anticipated, It was so fun that I wish it never ended.
It was so much fun!
The very next day, I received an invitation to a Christmas carol service at the Redeemed Christian Church of God in my neighborhood. The event was nothing short of marvelous, the choir's melodious voices filled the air, they choir tried, and they delivered. I felt truly fulfilled being in the house of God. The celebration continued with a drama of the birth of Jesus Christ, followed by an energetic choreography performance by the children’s department. I appreciate the invitation to this beautiful occasion, missing it would have been unthinkable. The more reason why I like Christmas 👌
The following day, I attended another Christmas carol at my own church, the Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel. This time, we sang and danced with a lively spirit, celebrating the season's joy in a vibrant display of faith and community. It's during these moments that I truly appreciate the magic of this time of year, filled with fun and activities both in places of worship and in recreational venues. The season, we all anticipate every year👍
As Christmas approaches, the atmosphere around my area is lively and full of excitement. I’ve also prepared foodstuffs to share with those in need on Christmas Day. To me, the essence of the season lies in sharing, and it's crucial to extend love and support to those around us during this time. This act of giving embodies the true spirit of Christmas, reflecting the love in the birth of Jesus, the very reason God gave us His only begotten Son.
