Hi everyone,
My name is Amidu Folashade. I'm a Nigerian from Osun state. Amidu is my father's name and my name Folashade means honored with a crown or honor confers a crown. Some of my friends call me "Sha-sha” but I will be using "fola.shade" as my username on hive.
My personality is that of an Ambivert. In case you are wondering who an Ambivert is; an ambivert is someone who exhibits qualities of both an introvert and an extrovert. Oh, yes! I can flip into either depending on my mood, context, goals and environment.
Education and Career
I'm an HND holder in Microbiology. I graduated from Delta State Polytechnic Ozoro in the year 2021.
Why microbiology?
Microbiology is one of the most important disciplines in biology. It makes it easier for one to identify micro organisms, to know how some of these organisms causes diseases, and how to discover cures for such diseases.
I'm currently serving in a community Grammar school in Kogi where I teach Biology. After my one-year service, I do not want to join the list of unemployed graduates or move from place to place searching for a job and that's why I learned the application of acrylic on nails, manicure, pedicure, and I'm also currently learning about the interior decoration business.
I'm a creative nail technician, and I love playing with colours. One of the major reasons why I acquired a skill is because I want to be my own boss, set the rules myself, be free and earn as much as possible.
My Hobbies
I love writing, writing is one of the ways I express my feelings or relieve my anger. I also love reading. I love reading werewolf and vampire stories, also romantic and adventurous stories.
Reading is important, because if you can read, you can learn anything about everything and everything about anything.
I also love listening to music because music is life. The kind of music I listen to depends on my mood and the weather. I also love surfing the internet. Sometimes I'm so engrossed on the internet that I find myself awake till 1am or 2am. Who does that?
Why I joined Hive
I joined Hive because I want to widen my knowledge, increase my concentration and become more creative. I want to share my experoence with others since I have a lot on my mind waiting to be unleashed. I here because I also want to get additional an income since it's so difficult surviving on only one source of income in my country.
The nature of post I will be creating
As I microbiologist I will share with you the things you need to know about microorganisms, how they affect our lives, the diseases they cause, their benefits. I will also share with you everything you need to know about your nails, I will be blessing your screens with different nail designs, my personal experiences, and also some of the fun facts I came across while surfing the net and lots more.
