Trip number 175 Torstrand

Hello!
I often show you the area around my town, sometimes it's closer, sometimes it's farther away, but I rarely take photos very close to home.
The neighborhood I'll show you is by the sea, and that's the part I'll demonstrate today. In the past, a large part of the community used to go whaling, and there are still monuments to it today.
Nowadays, there's only a ferry that connects Norway with Denmark. See for yourselves how this neighborhood looks.

I would definitely spend a week there. Lovely place.

There are so many beautiful places here, I haven't seen all of them for many years

Nice shots 👍 my favorite is the shore line with the colorful buildings

Thank you

What are those scary jaws from a horror movie?))

These are whale grip clamps

They look intimidating...

It's terrible, animals should be safe in their environment, fortunately, such fishing no longer exists.
