Hello once again…
Hoping this article finds you in great condition. Hoping the weather there, wherever you are is as great and nice as the weather here.
It is night time here… a day’s manual work and labor is done leaving paper works to be accomplished later on. The engine room was hot while the temperature outside is great with a cool wind blowing through which seems to sweep our tiredness away.
Much work is still in schedule but that will be tackled tomorrow and in the coming days. For now, we relax. We mustered in the poop deck and had some talks and laughs while some crew went and prepared their fishing gears. After a certain time passed, we caught fishes and squids.
We prepared cooking utensils and some charcoals for grilling and cooking. We already had our dinner prepared by the ship’s cook earlier but with the sight of freshly caught fishes and squids being cooked, I can’t help but feel the hunger which only the foods being cooked in front of me can satisfy. Oh, how I starve from these seafoods. Seems it’s gonna be a cheat day again. Diet will restart tomorrow..hahah
The food was cooked after sometime and some beverages were brought out too. The foods and beverages (beers) were so satisfying. I’m going 10months here onboard but with activities like these, extending for a month or two more is a no brainer…
Nothing beats talking about life, work and other unnecessary events from our own life or the life of others when it’s done in front of freshly caught and cooked seafoods and some beer(s)… hahah…
It is indeed a very productive and a tummy-fulfilling day
