Greetings friends,

Once again I am here to share with you the weekend initiative that brings us the friend @galenkp from which I chose the "solution to illiteracy ".

According to my perspective, illiteracy has existed for many decades, and although education is free in Venezuela and it is a right of every human being, not all people have had the opportunity to study.

In my grandparents' time I remember that since they were workers of the land they did not study, in fact my grandparents were illiterate, but that did not prevent them from raising their children and bringing them up to be professionals.

The problem today is that some parents do not care about the education of children, being in pamdemia many children fell behind in knowledge, but advanced in grade level, I do not know how it is in other countries, but in my country education went into decline, because you can not postpone children even if they do not have the knowledge for the grade u gual must pass them.

Now we are entering a stage of labor strike by the teachers who are demanding their rights and they are absolutely right, however the children are the ones who suffer because they continue to fall behind in their classes, it is up to the parents to prepare their children at home.

Although for some time now I have also known of people who have stopped sending their children to school because they do not have food at home and they prefer their children to work rather than study.

Therefore it is necessary to begin by changing the thinking of a society that feels excluded, one of the things that we must first eradicate would be poverty which influences the mentality of people, because if it is true that schools no longer have a sufficient curriculum for education today there are many sources for education such as the Internet, books and others.

But all this does not end, as long as the way of thinking of the people is not changed, it is necessary to finish first with the mental illiteracy, to be able to have productive countries.

It is a very sad reality, young people do not even have aspirations and the few that do, do not have the resources. Education is no longer free, I graduated from a public university that keeps its doors open because students pay for their courses by contributing with a contribution, something that is illegal but is the only way for a teacher to accept to go to class.

There is a lot to be solved and I hope it will be soon, because we will go from being a country with many professionals and quality to scarce. Also, I don't agree with promoting children without knowing anything, that is more unfair and harmful than making them repeat.

If you are absolutely right, we will go from a country where there were so many professionals and now they will be scarce, let's hope that this can improve.

That's how it is, my friend, many want to study but cannot.

Those who can find schools in poor condition and others do not even have the means to go with a full stomach.

The truth is that mentality is one thing and reality is another.

So things are not easy here.

I also know of people who in spite of everything are preparing themselves where they are giving classes and also have the option of learning on their own via online.

For the time being I hope that the struggles that are being made will give a positive result so that the teachers enter the classrooms to teach soon.

If there are many who have forged their way online, the reality of the country is also hard, it is not easy but those who want to, I know they can make it.
